I am getting jealous by all the fun themes! Great job on all the inchies. I am going to have to steal some themes next round!
I am posting what I sent to fullmoon, her computer is giving her a bit of a hard time.

I hope she liked them. Her themes I did were steampunk, witch/wiccan/pagan, and Dr. Who

253  Spider & Web Messenger Bag and Goodies in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by gozer on: March 23, 2011 03:54:56 PM
My sisters birthday is in April (& so is her name) and I wanted to make her presents this year. I did my first swap about a month and a half ago and it was the make a purse and fill it swap. I had a lot of fun doing it so I decided to keep to the same requirements and make one for her. She recently changed her style and asked for something in purple or orange and with bats or spiders. This is what I chose to do...
She likes messenger bags... I used napkitten pattern Swift Summer.

These are the extras I included...

I added a book inside the bag and made this bookmark to go with it.

and fridge magnets!
I can't wait to give it to her! C&C welcome!
Now that I am finished I can start working on my next swap. Swapping is addictive!

254  Re: Make a Purse & Fill It Swap (Round 6) Gallery in The Swap Gallery by gozer on: March 02, 2011 06:44:02 PM
Got my package today (from Bugaboo1) and I am completely beyond happy! I can't believe how lucky I am. I absolutely LOVE my purse!

Here is the whole shabang. Amazing comic book (HULK) purse with a zipper closure, large front pocket, 2 interior pockets, and pen slots. Tissue holder, and coin purse with ID slot and wrist handle. Super smooth lip balm, hand sanitizer, a spray bottle, post its, Haribo Gummi Bears (my absolute favorite candy), a cute card with rainforest animals, a ton of sweet light blue fabric with pastel highlights (my mind is racing on what project to apply this too!) and a cool book light!

Awesome interior pocket!

Extras! Love it all! Thank you so much Bugaboo1. You did an amazing job!
Oh and those are two of my cats sneaking in the pictures. They inspected everything and gave it their stamp of approval!

255  Christmas Stocking Stuffers in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by gozer on: November 03, 2010 06:56:57 PM
I have started working hard on making my Christmas gifts for the year. I have a lot of family members and friends that are hard to shop for so I give them gift cards. It's easier on me but I hate to not give them something a little more personal. So, I jazz up the gift card a little with fabrics picked according to their personalities and interests. Here are a couple of my favorites. I really hope they like them!

This is for my friend that loves barbie dolls and zombies. I thought this was a great combo of the two.

I love Edward Gorey and this fabric reminds me so much of his art.

My Mom is an elementary teacher and we love Olivia!

 This one is just cool!

My Aunt is kind of hard to shop for so a cute holiday print for her.

I think this was a pillow case...

My brother in law loves the Simpsons.

I love this fabric that I got for my Granny. It's so pretty with the glitter.

Hope you like them. I REALLY hope they like them too!

256  Secret Keeper Kitty! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by gozer on: October 26, 2010 05:59:15 PM
I have had this pattern for a while and finally had the time to try it out. I am hooked! I finally have something to do with all my scraps! I new I would find a good use for them.   Wink
I made it a little kitty and named her Daphnie. She could be used as a tooth fairy pillow or as a secret pocket for any small item.
I already have enough scraps cut out for three more. I know what all the kids in my family are getting for Christmas!

Closed mouth

After the tooth fairy has visited!

Comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

257  owl coin purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by gozer on: October 25, 2010 07:27:51 PM
I made this cute owl coin purse for my Mom because she is so wonderful and always helps me so much. When I gave it to her I stuffed it with Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, her favorite. She seemed to like it and thought it was really cute.
I got the pattern from Keykalou. I wanted to do something that let me play with patterns and combining colors. I went with a fall motif. It's a fun pattern and I can't wait to make more!
Next time I will place the velcro a little lower because the beak pokes out a bit when it's closed.
Thanks for checking it out!  Smiley

259  Funky purses in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by gozer on: May 03, 2010 08:07:54 PM
This is my first post. I have been trying to sewing for a little while but my busy schedule doesn't allow for it much. I decided to force myself to make the time and construct purses for my friends as gifts. Here was the first. Let me know what you think.

My personal fave. Pattern by Keykalou. Very good pattern for those of us not quite that confident in our skills!
