Rockingbearranch Love the way you recycled the box to the cell phone case! Very cool little owl shrine. Those little dino stuffies are adorable. Love the fabrics you chose.  Clever and fun Twister ATC!

NoShowJr
thanks for the advice. My yard is fenced in so only the cats really get in. I had to dog proof in after a dog kept breaking in to get my bunny. In the end the box didnt work because I opened my door to feed the cat and it ran in. Ended up spending the snow storm in my bathroom eating moist cat food.

CraftADDchick Love the fabric you used for the basket liners. Very clever to chain stitch, saves time.

Roler the curry looks very yummy. Wish I had some right now! Very cool vest. I love how you get so into the bands. It looks like a bunch of fun!

Storerboughtcreations that Care Bear cross stitch is immaculate! It turned out so perfect. I too am a Care Bear fan and I love it! PS. Whose your fave? Mine are Grumpy and Good Luck.

Puzzled-penguin Bahahaha! I died laughing when I read that. Completely awesome! My sister would love that Daryl hoop too.

Bunny1kenobi The necklaces turned out really pretty! Love that little swirly button on the bottom one.

Krafty_Karasu Love that Ugly sweater! Very cool design.

Here is what I did with my time snowed it. Luckily I kept power.  Grin

Prompt: December - Slinky
Team: Wordy!
Bonus Points: +10 UFO
Project Name: Green and Pink Cross Body Bag
Project Link: I'll add this after she receives
Brief Description: I made this for the IYP swap. It was supposed to be for the 12 Mini Days of Christmas swap but time got away from me. I have had the fabric sitting there waiting for me forever it seems. The purse has a metal slide and connectors. Ignore the cat. I had her by the bum but she was determined it was hers. We were all a little stir crazy from the snow. Tongue

Prompt: December - Cardboard Box

Project Name: Swoon Bubble Purse
Project Link: I will add this when my partner receives.
Brief Description: The Prompt I made up is to Make something using my Favorite medium. Mine is fabric and sewing. This is for the Make a Purse and fill it swap but I have never seen my partner on here so I am posting up. I used the Swoon Sandra Pattern and I LOVED it. Already have plans to make another.

Sorry guys. I haven't fallen off the face of the planet. I was super busy over the holidays and just now I am catching up enough to craft and get back to being me. I should be participating more from here on out. I missed you all!

Prompt:  Red Alert - I will go down with this ship (corrected, thanks Bunny1kenobi!)
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: Outdoor cat snowbox
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: My neighbor has two cats that pretty much live in my yard. She lets them in the house but I cant because I already have cats indoors and they dont really get along. We are expecting a huge snow storm and I wanted to make sure that the outdoor cats have a place to go in case they dont get inside. Last year I made an insulated tube for them and brought that out but wanted to throw something else out there just in case any other animals needed a place out of the snow. I made this out of an Amazon box. I left one of the flaps out as a little roof and another to block the wind. Hopefully putting it against the house will give it more protection. I covered the entire thing in two layers of extra thick trash bags on the outside to keep it from getting all soggy in the snow and put towels on the inside. It was a last minute idea to try to help any outdoor animals. Also, it looks sort of like a Borg Cube so I will go down with this ship for my love of animals.

Prompt:  January Puss in Boots

Project Name: Cat Draft Stopper
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: My kitten, Yeti Pegleg, likes to rip at the weather stripping on my doors. While I was in front of the door giving her meds I noticed a distinct draft so I whipped these up. That's the little perp in the pic. Also, the fabric has cats on it. So far she hasnt tried to mess with them too much. I filled them with rice and added some lavender scent to make them a little more comforting.
Project Picture:

Prompt:  January - Pinocchio
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: -0- Raffle Ticket (it was on clearance)   (corrected, thanks Bunny1kenobi!)
Project Name: Monkey Draft Stopper
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: I got this fabric while it was on Clearance and honestly had no idea what to do with it. I saw it and thought it would be cute for the backdoor draft stopper. The backdoors edge was a little higher than the front so I might remake this a little taller if the electricity doesnt go out tonight. This one has the lavender scent added as well. This gives the impression my house will be nice and warm but it's normally cold.  Embarrassed
Project Picture:

Prompt:  January 3 Billy Goats Gruff
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: +10 (UFO)
Project Name: Curtains for my bedroom
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: I have been living in my house for about two and a half years embarrassingly and I hadnt put curtains up in my bedroom. I have shades and that was enough for me. My Mom got me some fabric to make them with about 6 months ago and they sat there, folded up under one of the windows. Last week I decided it was time. I sewed THREE curtains. It took longer than I expected with the help of two playful kittens. I added a decorative stitch to the top and bottom and a ribbon sash. I still need to put a hook in to hold them back more. I took the wide shot to show all three curtains. Sorry my room is messy. I would have made my bed but there were cats on it and I was done for the night.

Prompt: December - Battle - Lincoln Logs
Team: Wordy!! (of course Wink)
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: Zig Zag Card Holder
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: I found one of these card holders at a craft show and loved it. After doing a little looking I finally found the pattern and made some of my own. My Mom picked this fabric and I ended up making three out of it. I gave one to her already and then made this one because I still had the fabric out and figured it would work for the Lincoln Logs Battle since the zig zags stack up like logs.  Tongue It has a fun pop of the floral fabric inside.

Prompt: Throwback
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: Floral ZigZag Card Holder
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: I made two of these last round so my Mom could choice which one she wanted and this was the left over one. I have been working a bunch so the fabric laid out on the ironing board until recently and so I made the other one (above). I like this way better.

26  Re: mini 12 Days of Christmas 2015 GALLERY send outs 11-23-2015 in The Swap Gallery by gozer on: November 30, 2015 06:10:23 AM
Akkkkk! I worked all weekend so I am just now getting on after a long and crazy sales weekend. This shall be my spot!  Grin
Here is a pic of my little Yeti Pegleg enjoying the gifts that Kwality570 sent. She thinks they are for her.

Day 1: Last night I had to work so I opened my first present when I got home. I was so delighted to see this adorable little monster ornament! It is so light weight and cool!

Day 2: As soon as I got up I unwrapped the second one. Yes, I am the type that loves to draw Christmas out. LOL!
I literally squealed. These are the cutest snowmen ever! I love the little family. I snapped their picture and then hid them on a high shelf from the kittens.  Wink

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!!!!!!

Sorry, got super swamped with work but I took pics last night of all the amazing stuff!!!!
Day 3: Yeti finally got her present. LOL! She was looking for these (with her good eye). Egon got an eye infection so I gave them to them early to distract him. He LOVES them. It was so cute. He grabbed up the blue fish and was playing for hours!

Day 4: For Day four I got this super cute box full of holiday Hershey's Kisses. I am going to set this box on my end table as part of the decorations for Christmas. This will be the first year having it at my house.

Day 5: I literally squealed when I opened this! I am in complete Star Wars mode having just seen the movie and I LOVE this. He immediately went on my display shelf to stay safe from the kitties. Thank you so much Kwality570! I love this guy!!!

Day 6: I will have to get a better shot of the mug rug, which I will never set anything on! It's too cool! I thought I had a close up but it was fuzzy today. The piecing was done by watsonc7 and she got it in the shop the swap. She sent a festive wooden box of caramels (oh so yummy) along with it. I'll set the box out for decoration but I doubt the candy lasts that long.  Tongue

Day 7: Kwality570 sent me this awesome beading kit! Wow! I said I was going to try at least two new crafts this year and this will be one of them. I am so excited to try it! Looks so intimidating. LOL! But I love all the beadwork I see on here. Yippee!!!! This completely rocks!

Day 8: I absolutely LOVE this. Probably my favorite item so far. It's so pretty and sweet. Exactly what I was hoping for! SO cool. Here is it lit up and them with some lights out (but not all of them so you can still see it)

The background shimmers too! Such a beautiful piece.

Day 9: I know my Mom is going to try to snatch the white one because she has a white cat. These are the funniest cat butt coasters ever. Love them. I laughed and laughed when I opened them.

Day 10: Will be opened tonight! Opened!
Kwality570, you are going to have to post up a better picture of this because I did not do it justice. I have to take the pictures in the dark (only time I am home) and I kept getting the flash on it.  Undecided It does not do it justice. This is such an amazing piece of art work! I love it. I absolutely LOVE it!!! It has an awesome shimmery background and the friendliest monster ever on it. He's ready for the cold... if we ever get any.

Then she sent me some phenominal mushroom art! I love this. It is inspired by one of my Pins that I have adored for a while and you hit it out of the park. This will be on display year round. I LOVE it. The mushrooms are 3-D and the background is the awesome shimmery paint again.  Cheesy

Day 11: Awe! I got the coolest scarf ever! It is done so nicely too. Not flimsy and thin but doubled up... not sure what you call that but it is fantastic. It is of a friendly alligator. I added a close up of his face and his mouth even opens and his tongue moves! Also, the yarn is shimmery.  Wink

Day 12: I went ahead and opened and am posting the final day because my schedule is going to be insane from here on out. Wish me luck in getting my house clean in time. LOL!
Kwality570 knows I collect bookmarks. I kind of have a thing for them even though I read e-books.  Tongue Can't give up the bookmarks. They are like little works of art. So she made me a Bookmark Book! Brilliant! I will add all my bookmarks so I don't lose any. Why didn't I think of this earlier? You are fantastic Kwality! I love it. Oh! And when I opened it I was even more pleased. I got this amazing Ghostbusters bookmark. All cross stitched and perfect!

Thank you so much Kwality570. I absolutely LOVED everything and don't forget I have the other gift for you coming after Christmas. Thank you so much for being my partner!

Those bookmarks are beautiful Onyxnox! I love the ribbon "follow your dreams" and the "embrace story time" best!
Last night I received a wonderful bookmark from Acadian Driftwood. It was exactly what I wanted. Something that will not fall out of my book if I throw it half-hazzardly into my purse in a rush. Which happens often.  Tongue
It's perfect for me. Books and Cats!  Grin Sorry about the flash in the photo. It's getting darker out now and the sun had already hidden for the night when I got my mail.

Thank you so much Acadian Driftwood. I love my bookmark!

The green one disappeared before it even hit the floor! I included some shots of my kits playing with them.
