Brief Description: I made this hoop for LovelyMiss. I got inspired from her Pinterest and the watercolor type splatter painting. I had to do it all in a certain order, drawing the face, dripping the ink, touch ups and layers, then putting it in the hoop.

23  Floral Sandra Saddle Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by gozer on: November 14, 2016 10:03:02 AM
I made this bag for LovelyMiss in the Games Swap. I got the fabric off her Pinterest and I love it. It was so pretty in person. The colors were all very rich and full. I think it made for a pretty bag. I used the Sandra Saddle Bag by Swoon. I really like the pattern. It allows for a cool focus fabric front and lots of room inside with the pockets and I adore an adjustable strap.

I am using some of her pictures, hope she doesn't mind. My pics were kind of dark (thanks Winter!).

I loved the way the fabric allowed me to do the gusset. The pink worked its way up the side. The other side was a bouquet of flowers.

And the inside was a pop of bright green.

24  Ink Splatter Girl Hoop in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by gozer on: November 14, 2016 08:04:27 AM
I made this for the recent Games Swap for LovelyMiss. She likes the watercolor drippy type artwork so I thought I would give it a shot, but without water colors. They just don't seem to like me. Instead I used Alcohol inks, acrylic paint and a Sharpie.
It was really vibrant and bright the first night but after it dried it lost a lot of the punch so I reapplied a few times and layers of watered down Acrylic.
She said she liked it so I'm happy. It was pretty fun to drip paint and flick the brush at it. I am normally so precise that this was freeing.
I liked the way she looked from different angles too.

Quick question, I have shoe boxes FULL of fabric (mostly fussy cut) into 4"x5.75" rectangles. I used to run an Etsy shop selling mainly coin purses and I cut these before I quit doing it. I thought they would be a good size for TM patches or just for scraps of some kind. Would anyone be interested in a grab bag of them. I could include a theme (Christmas, Halloween, Skulls, People, Animals, etc) or just do it random or by color scheme.
If you're interested let me know.
Also, I'm adding some Halloween fabric to my shop today. Alexander Henry "Bewitched", 1 yard. The devil lady is 11" tall. I was thinking of making a tote out of it and offering that but I figured someone might be able to make something else with the fabric instead.

 Those are really pretty Underthemountain!

While cleaning my craft room last night I found some more stuff for my shop. Here are some cute little pendants I drew up a while ago. 0.5 pt each with necklace chain.
