Oh WOW! Love the paper doll. How creative. I may have to hit you up for a private swap Pilarfarmer!  Wink

I was sending jillybeans the list of cards that had been posted and realized that I didn't post my card from Oyhana. I thought I had already. Sorry Oyhana! The card is fantastic. It's for my random close up objects theme...

Once again. Sorry for posting so late. The card is stunning. Thank you!  Grin

Sorry it took me a couple of days to post (some) of my cards. For some reason they weren't downloading onto Flickr..blah, blah, blah... On to the good stuff!

I got notone but TWO amazing cards from SunnyDawn. I love mermaids and these are fantastic.

Next up is from our lovely organizer - jillybeans. We did a private swap but I am going to post it here. Hopefully she won't mind.  Wink

It reminds me of mrs peregrine's home for peculiar children.

Last but not least... A beauty named Belle from the ever talented WideEyedLife!!!

I have so been wanting to try the toned paper thing but after seeing yours I am even more intimadated. Love it!

Hey everyone! I got these cards earlier this week and time was just not on my side as far as posting.
 I love them!
First up is from Jennleahlynn. She sent me a very beautiful pumpkin patch. It is absolutely amazing. Wonderfully shaded. I love it. It's very appropriate for all of Fall.

Next is from the ever talented Wulf. He sent me this clever little card. I love the way it looks vintage-ish.

 And open the door and...

I think the skeleton looks a little shocked too!
Thank you so much! I love them both!!!!!

184  Halloween Swapped in Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) by gozer on: October 10, 2012 11:55:12 AM
I joined the Surprise Halloween ATC Swap and had a lot of fun making these cards. They have all be received so I thought I would go ahead and post them before the holiday season changes from the frightful to the merry!
This was actually my last card done but I was really proud of myself for spraying it down. I was worried I was going to ruin it and have some random crazy streak somewhere. I think it turned out good. I was happy. It's, of course, from Psycho.
I thought I would be funny and use A.T.C. for the graves initials. Yep, I am a big dork. It's suppose to look like the zombie drug himself across the cemetery.

And this little scarecrow breaks free at night.. and is tough enough to tackle that fence! Watch out for him.  Wink

I hope everyone enjoyed their cards. I had a lot of fun making them and they really put me in the Halloween spirit!

185  monster Mache Boxes in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by gozer on: October 04, 2012 07:13:00 AM
I joined the monster swap that was going on last month and had a ton of fun doodling up monsters. I ended up having a bunch of drawings but not much else to do with them. I didn't want to send a completely flat package so I knew it was time to branch out from 2-D drawings and try my hand at something 3-D-ish.
The altered tin swaps always inspire and amaze me so I wanted to do an easier version of that. I am no where near ready to do a tin! I took a couple of my drawings and photocopied them in case I messed them up and put them on two paper mache boxes I got from Michael's. I thought they turned out cute and I plan to make some more to use as the wrapping for Christmas presents.  Smiley

here are the tops. Ever since I discovered Distressing Ink I have become a junky! LOL!

This was the best shot I had of the sides. I used scrapbook paper. I used a little felt flower to hide where the paper met in the front. I thought it turned out cute.

I drew up the monsters myself and colored them with Copic Markers. And here it is with some of the goodies (I made stickers too!) I put inside or sent along with it.
I have some owl and sock monkey stuff to make more of these for my sister.  Smiley
Thanks for checking them out!

186  District 9 3/4 in Stenciling: Completed Projects by gozer on: October 03, 2012 04:28:00 PM
When I saw that jillybeans birthday was coming up last month I wanted to send her a little birthday surprise. I know she loves both Harry Potter and The Hunger Games (more HP!). I found this really cool design on-line and knew it was what I had to make for her.
I have only done a couple of stencils using the freezer paper and it pulled up a little on the letters, sorry Jill.
I have to say a special THANK YOU!!! to IdlersDesign who was her partner in the tee-shirt swap and told me jillybeans size and style preference. You rock IdlersDesign and really helped me surprise her! Couldn't have done it without your help!

It wraps around the side a little on purpose.  Wink

 Thanks for looking!

Pioneer9 received her card from me a couple days ago and she asked me to post for her.

I tried to make it look like the zombie had stumbled thru the grass. I hope she liked it!

188  First Stuffie! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by gozer on: October 03, 2012 01:02:07 PM
I have seen all sorts of amazing stuffies on here and always wanted to try to make one. When I joined the Monster Swap I knew I had to attempt it. Whenever I sew I always use a pattern because my confidence is not that high with it yet. But for this guy I drew up my own. First time for that!! Yes, it is very simple but I am still super excited that it turned out at all.
Here is is chillin' on the ugly chair.

And here he is hanging out with my kitty, Gozer. They wanted a more serious "gangsta" shot so he didn't stick out his tongue.  Tongue
And here he is on his way to his new home at Kwality570's. He brought along his own basket and bat toy.
I used the tutorial that LesliesHappyHeart put on here for the basket. Thanks for the tut! I didn't do the embellishing but I think it still turned out nice. Here is the link to it!

Thanks so much for looking. I really enjoyed making this guy and I can't wait to try another one. Maybe actually get the horns on the next one.  Grin

189  Monsterous Attempt at Embellishing in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by gozer on: October 03, 2012 12:50:23 PM
One of my biggest problems with my projects is embellishing. I just can't do it. It doesn't come natural and it likes to make a fool out of me every chance it gets. I will draw up a cute monster or twisting mermaid and then that's it.  Tongue  I want to add more dimension to my work. I have it set as one of my little goals to work on my embellishing skills. Currently they are at a "2" I would like to bring them up to a "4". LOL! I have a real issue with creativity. I have all these crazy amazing ideas in the store and I go blank and loose all my nerve once my supplies are set out in front of me.
Here is my second attempt at cards. I made these for Kwality570 for the monster swap.

Here they all are together. I drew & colored the monsters with markers.

He may not look like a monster but he is actually a baby Kraken.  Wink

I attempted stamping for the lettering because my handwriting is horrible!

This was my favorite but it is very plain.

My husband liked this one best.

Any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated! And thanks for checking them out!

190  nail polish purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by gozer on: October 03, 2012 08:31:36 AM
I haven't posted on this board in a long time. We moved and now my craft room is so tiny it's almost impossible to sew in. I can't have my ironing board up and the chair to my sewing table out at the same time kind of tiny.  Undecided
But a couple months ago I did manage to get this purse done for my BIL's girlfriend. She does nails and loves cutesy stuff so I thought this fabric was perfect for her.

I am planning to make one with peacock feathered fabric soon for the other BIL's girlfriend. I just need to clean up some in the room first. Eek! But seeing this really makes me want to sew again so maybe that will motivate me!
 Thanks for looking!
