Sorry I haven't been on here lately. Lots, lots, lots going on at home.  Embarrassed
BUT I did receive the most amazing package from Suereal. It really made my day. You will never know. The timing of such awesomeness was nothing less than brilliant.   Wink
I was so excited and actually squealed several times while opening this box. Now I have serious swap anxiety over hers.
Without further ado, here is her amazing work!

This fantastic Red Riding Hood doll. It's actually moveable! Check out the teeth and eyes! AMAZING!!!

Then these terrific hot air balloons light bulbs! I absolutely adore these! I want to hang a bunch of these up in my craftroom to add whimsy without taking up space (it's kind of small). Thank you so much!!!! LOVE them!

This one has a little elephant rider. All the riders are interchangeable too!
and here is glowing in the dark, yeah. Cool.

The Cloud one. Look at all the detail with the little stars and all. Love the grass in the bucket too. Oh, and my outdoor kitty made it in the shot.  Tongue

Next up is this manly man one. LOL! The balloon is all glittery red. So funny and awesome!!!

And last but not least my FAVORITE item. All the detail and amazingness. It's insane! A goldfish hot air balloon. In my mind he is a magical flying fish.  Grin

Here is a close up of his amazingness.

and I got spoiled with lots of extras too!

Candy (Canadian I believe), a cool key knife, Skull thumb tacks, and a KINDER EGG!!! I grew up in Germany and we always got these! Thank you so much!!!
Everything was beyond expectation. Loved everything SO much. I can't wait to hang up my air balloons!!!!! Thank you Suereal. You absolutely ROCKED this!!!!!

Project Name: Bathroom repaint
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: I bought my first house in September. We have lived in apartments and rented before so this was the first time I could really paint. Most of the house was already done. Green bedroom, bright blue bathroom, dark beige office, and the rest of the house is "natural wicker". It's a very light beige color. I thought the main bathroom needed some splash of color. I have wanted to do a focus wall since we moved in. I bought frames the color of the wall so I HAD to paint and I also go artwork, but kept chickening out. This morning I completely changed my mind on the color (originally I wanted eggplant) and went with this gray blue. I think it has a beachy feel and went better with my mermaid theme.  Grin
Project Picture:
Before - Plain and boring all beige and white bathroom.

My bathroom is really hard to get a pic of because it is sort of L shaped, but here is the blue accent wall!

I called this a UFO because I have had these frames and pictures waiting for me to paint so I could hang them for over - oh my gosh... 10 MONTHS! LOL! Well, it's done and I am happy now.

Thanks Ladies! And Congrats to Calazaba and Pishaw13 too!

LovelyMiss - Once again it is diet time and I am being tormented by the scrumptious food on this board. To be fair, it is always diet time though.  Tongue I have a weakness for potaotes so that is what is making me drool! Love that Kraken shirt. Especially that bright green color of the ship.
Bunny1Kenobi - Beautiful card for the hubby. You can never tell someone you love them enough.  Smiley

My Team captain is back so I have to show her I was working while she was away and not just... well working, you know how jobs get in the way.  Roll Eyes

Project Name: Glorified Grahams
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: The ladies at my work head a fund raiser for Children's Cancer research. They put out an email asking for people to donate snacks and deserts. I made Gloried Grahams. They are simple and oh so good!  This was my first time caramelizing anything. At least I think it was. Some turned out better than others but they were all a hit.  Grin I made about 40 bags with 4 grahams in each.
INGREDIENTS
10-12 whole graham crackers (break apart)
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup ground nuts (I used pecans, ground in coffee grinder)
Line a 15X10 baking sheet (I have disposable aluminum pans I reuse) with graham crackers.
In saucepan, bring butter and sugar to a boil; boil for 2 minutes.  Remove from heat, stir in nuts.
Spoon over graham crackers.  Bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes.  Remove from pan on to foil.
Cool and break apart.

Project Name: Jungle Reclamation
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: In September I bought a house with an amazing Japanese garden and koi pond. I was reassured it would be no problem. It's a problem!  Tongue I am absolutely horrible at gardening and have NO idea which is a weed and which is "ground cover". It all looks the same to me. For my project I went out with my Mom and pulled weeds and tried to reclaim the jungle that had become of my garden. Fun Fact: Just because it has a flower on it doesn't mean it's a flower. It can still be a weed.  Undecided
 Project Picture:
Before. Apparently these are all weeds.

I added the mushrooms below the birdbath.

This is one of the paths that kind of disappeared recently. For some reason Craftster is making this sideways...

The structure at the end is my bunny, Bunicula's, cage.

Project Name: Doll Clothes
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: My Nieces b-day is on the 15th and I decided to make her some clothes for her Journey Girl. They are like American Girls but bought at Target and are the same size 20". I remember how much I LOVED when my Mom would make my Barbies clothes as a child. And I also super glad these dolls are bigger because I think Barbie clothes would be a huge pain, but these were fun to make.
Project Picture:
I wanted to give her some mix and match options. I loved this pattern because there was NO Velcro. LOL!

This was the first one I made. A simple A line dress.

and my favorite. A fancy dress in a zebra print.

I got my amazing package from Kwality570 on Friday but life has been super crazy. I actually brought my pics to work so I could post on my break.  Tongue
She sent me the most amazing and wonderful package ever. I wanted things to enchant my kitchen and specifically asked for stuff for my windowsill.
I got two adorable little snails to sit and peek out.  Cheesy

Then I got these three amazing mushroom and house pots for over the sink. I absolutely love these. My sister is going to be so jealous too!

Close up!

Then she included some amazing art work for the kitchen wall. So far I only have a painting of a pair that my future SIL made me but I want to fill it up with bright whimsical things. This is perfect!

And she also embroidered the most adorable fox magnet for me! I had no idea you embroidered Kwality! This turned out SO cute. I love him!!!

and last but definitely NOT least. This amazing Fairy door!

I love the little window. It is staying in my kitchen. It's so cute! Now I have two fairy doors! I want to put them all over my house. Thank you so much for such an amazing package Kwality570. I love everything SO much!!!!!

Project Name: Deer Hot Pad

Brief Description: I found this super cute pattern for a fox hot pad. I already had a fox project for the WC&EC swap. I looked around a bit for something with a deer and then just decided to make it up myself! I drew out the deer a few times to get it right. Used my trusty scissors a lot.  Wink My hubby thought it was a cat at first. LOL! I think it's recognizable now. Hopefully!

I have a couple other things done but I am sending out tomorrow and will post them up here as soon as they arrive at their destination. I wanted to post this in case I forgot and didn't get it in this month.

Project Name: Longmire bookmark
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: My Dad is completely hooked on Longmire. It's his favorite show and he has been reading the books too. For Fathers Day I got him a gift card so he can get more of the books (he reads them so fast no one can keep track of which one he is on). I thought that just a gift card would look like I didn't put enough effort into it so I made him this bookmark too (and took him to dinner). I used Manga Paper (or thick marker paper), Copic markers, Copic pen, and distressing ink ink (red, tea, and black) and sealed it with clear coat. He seemed to really like it.
