Details of swap:
Do you have a fandom that is pretty well known but most of the time by people who arent really that into it or have only seen the movie/show? Or people who have just skimmed the top of its potential?
I am a huge Star Wars fan but I dont always want to walk around with a Star Wars logo on my shirt. I tend to appreciate things that are of that universe but dont scream Star Wars. For example I have a Dewback Brewery shirt. Not everyone immediately associates that with Star Wars. The casual interest person probably wouldnt take a second glance at it but the true SW geek would get it immediately.
I recently saw an apron with Mellark Bakery on it and thought it was brilliant. My sister didnt get it, even though she watched and liked the Hunger Games movies. Remember Drive Shaft from Lost (or Oceanic Airways, Mr Clucks Chicken Shack, there were so many)? I still have a Greendale Community College shirt from the TV show Community. And I got my Dad a drinking glass with a Red Pony logo on it from the fictional bar in Longmire. Or what about Fangtasias from TrueBlood? Soft Kitty from Big bang Theory. I could go on and on.
How about a swap for those of us with Fandoms that dont want it to be so obvious? This would be a swap for regular fandoms that we dont want to be so blatant about or it could also be used for fandoms of things, like books, that dont really have too many items available. But you would have to be specific with your partner if you are doing something like a book or something more obscure. The intent of this swap wouldnt be to force someone to read a bunch of books or watch hours of an unknown TV show.
Yes, it's a long Questionnaire but if it's undercover than most would not have picked up on it so I want to be helpful to partners. Communication will be helpful too!

This swap will be for 1 medium and 2 smalls. You can spoil but please discuss that with your partner first.

There has been a bit of confusion as to what is a large, medium, and small item.  So here's a handy dandy guide.  This is a guideline ONLY: a rough estimate of sizes described by time it takes to make package, by physical size and by cost:

By Time
-Large = 3 or more hours
-Medium = 2 or more hours
-Small = 2 or less hours

By Size
-Large = A shawl, a shirt, a skirt, a set of jewelry with four to five items, a purse
-Medium = one single necklace or bracelet, a scarf
-Small = Earrings, stickers, wallets, pouches, bookmarks

By Price
-Large = $30 or more
-Medium = $10-$30 dollars
-Small = $10 or less

Prompt:  January - Fallout
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points:  Swaptastic
Project Name: Grafic Fabric Purse 2
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: I recently found this fabric and fell in love with it. I made myself a purse with it and when I decided to make this purse pattern the only fabric I could think of was this Grafic print. I bought 1 yard each of the bricks and the graffiti and I was able to get three purses out of it!  This one is for Fallout because lots of propaganda was started by spray painting on brick walls. This particular purse is going to be available in my shop for the Fall STS. It has a long cross body length strap, a back zippered pocket, and a spacious interior pocket.

Project Name: Grafic Fabric Purse 3

Brief Description: This is the third purse I made with the fabric. Again, it has a long cross body length strap, a back zippered pocket, and a spacious interior pocket. This purse will be a RAFFLE PRIZE for the Games. Hope you guys like it. Don't forget, we need more prizes! Donate now! Grin

Project Name: Tattooed Zip To It Purse
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: I think by now everyone knows I love to sew purses. This is yet another purse - surprise, surprise.  But its slightly different because its a new pattern. I made this for Bunny1kenobi for Christmas. She requested lots of pocket and I know she likes cross body bags. Each of the top parts has a zipper (with pockets inside) and the two sides separate to reveal a center area with even more pockets. Albeit, small pockets. There is also a zippered pocket on the side of the bag. Ill add a post up for it later. Sorry, these are some of the worst pics ever. It's winter and I don't get much light anymore.

Prompt:  January Solitaire
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: Grafic Collage Purse
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: I made this purse for myself, I should be the only person using it hence, Solitaire. I saw this fabric and became kind of obsessed with it. I knew I had to make myself something out of it. I make this purse pattern before and I really like it. Its very open and I can locate stuff quickly.
And for the Wordy Team challenge I would like to point out the BLUE on the front.  Wink

Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: Tuna Catnip Cat Treats
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: Im not much of a cook but for Christmas this year I got  my cats a kit for homemade cat treats. I made them into little bite sized treats. Out of five cats only one eats them and I think that is out of pity. Added bonus, they look like Pac Man pellets.  Wink
Project Picture:

Prompt: January - Warcraft
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: Lavender Scented Rice Pack
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: I am always cold and my sinuses were acting up so I whipped up this little rice pack for myself using some rice that I soaked in scented oils. I let the rice dry out for a couple days before adding it to the rest of the rice and putting it in the bag. I used my ability to sew and the fact that I am cheap and love homemade solutions to make this.
Project Picture:

Research Project Name: Dragonfly Beaded Bracelet
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: Brain Power
Project Link: -0- (will add soon)
Brief Description: I decided to make this for Bunny1kenobi for Christmas because I was sure she as tired of getting the same old craft things from me every year. I wanted to give her something she wouldnt be expecting. It was way more of a challenge than I expected. First up, my eyes are NOT what they used to be. Also, I have five cats. I have no idea what I was thinking when I started this. LOL! In the end I got each line down to 10 minutes. Yes, that was after I sped up, which I didnt do until at least the 60th line. It has 98 lines (I shortened it buy 2 lines for length) and 28 beads across each line for a total of 2,744 beads. I was a total newbie at this and it took me almost 4 hours just to try to get the thing started on the loom I have (thank you Kwality570 for that!). Finally I gave up and just wrapped it around, then had a panic attack halfway thru wondering if I would be able to finish it because of that. Then you have to weave all the thread back thru to stop it off. Oh, and my cat Egon got ahold of it and chewed up 4 lines in about 30 seconds. I almost cried. Well, I may have a little. I also kept knotting up the thread and having to remove parts I did and rethread again. I was a complete mess but I think the next one will be MUCH faster. Much. Oh, and the "Thank You" tag is for her being such a great friend.  Grin

Project Name: Christmas drawstring bags
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: I saw a post by CleopatraWarbucks where she had made some project bags aka Drawstring bags. She posted the link to the tute she used on her post. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=448245.0
I figured this would be a great way to use up some of the Christmas fabric I have, since I have a HUGE amount. Sorry the pic is fuzzy. I didnt realize that until today. These were for two of my friends. They are reusable and will save on the waste of wrapping paper too. I made about 5 more for family members.

Project Name: Zeddmores Heart Cat Necklace
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description:  How can you not love CATS? My Mom gives her cat Zeddmore pipe cleaners to play with. As you can guess by the name, he was mine but he liked her more so she stole him. While playing with this one he formed a heart. My mom was so tickled she took a pic of the heart Zed made her. It made for sweet MEMORIES.

9  Undercover Fandom Round 2 in New Swap Theme Ideas by gozer on: December 07, 2016 11:06:42 AM

I thought I would go ahead and throw this out there for everyone who was planning out there crafting and swaps after the holidays. I am hoping to organizing another round of the Undercover Fandom Swap in February.
Here is the explanation of what an Undercover Fandom is taken directly from the last swap and a link to it.

We had an amazing swap last time and a fantastic gallery. Hopefully we will get a lot of interest and another great group together.  Cheesy
If you have any questions or interest let me know. I'll send reminder PM's out when it officially opens to anyone who wants one too.

Project Name: Beer Potholder 2
Project Link: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=450963.0
Brief Description: I made a set of these for the mini 12 days of Christmas swap last year in green (pic is in the posting) and my BIL saw them and liked them. I really wanted to make him a set but I didn't have time. I have had the fabric set aside to do it since last year and never got around to it. Last weekend I finally whipped them up. I substituted the green for yellow since it went better with the fabric panels I had left. They have a layer of Insulbrite and two layers of cotton batting for each.
