Without further ado, we have the wonderful crafts from my awesome swap partner kayrun!


She knitted a fantastic bracelet reminiscent of Juliet's derby friendship bracelet in "Talk Derby To Me" and bought me some stellar lego earrings shaped like a pair of rollerskates! They're both super!


A super set of cups that say "Psych", "Maniac Monique" and one that has an outline of a rollerskate again from "Talk Derby To Me".  She also sent me a blank cup to decorate myself with some color your own stickers and a pearlescent painter pen!


I also received (3) cute magnets.  One with a picture of the plush Psych pineapple, Shawn and Gus doing the fist bump and Shawn preparing the crab cake meal for Juliet in "Talk Derby To Me".  I also got some instant Starbucks coffee packages, one in which I drank this morning and a rollerskate ornament!


And last I received two stellar knitted washcloths.  I don't know if you can really see it but the bright pink one has a pineapple motif knitted into it and the second one is a color play of one of my other fav episodes "Black & Tan: A Crime of Fashion"

Since the fifth season is complete, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a round 3 for our favorite fake Psychic and his awesome sidekick Magichead.  I was thinking we could start in the spring since the sixth season is scheduled to begin Summer 2011.  I'd be willing to organize (though it'd be my first time).  If there are a good number of participants I'd probably need some help.

And for the twist: Craft My Favorite Psych Episode! This would be hard to choose from for me personally but IDK, some of you may know exactly what episode made you truly fall in love with our favorite detective duo.  Maybe we can list our three favorite episodes and our partners can choose from those three... just a thought.  What do you all think??? Yay or Nay?

[The Rays]

I sent my package about two weeks ago and haven't heard from my partner.  We decided to do recylceld material wall art and this is what I made:



The Rays: Made from yellow and gray pages from magazines
The Center: (2) blank CD's covered in a piece of scrapbook paper and topped with a water bottle cap
Embellishments: Gold and silver sequins and a can of glitter spray paint.

I made (2) semi-matching pieces.  They are easy to hang because of the hole in the center of the CD.  The hardest part was finding the right colors in magazines.  There weren't many yellow options for me.  I searched through at least five magazines and last but not least, super glue (in all it's glory) is not really a friend of mine.  I had so many issues with the tube and even got some on my cheek which sent me into a straight freak out. LOL!

Thanks so much boarderchic.  This was such a great swap!

My God daughter's birthday party was last Saturday and for her gift I made an acrylic painting for her bedroom. I worked on it for two nights and I was so happy with the outcome, I decided to share it here. My best friend and her husband were so thrilled when they unwrapped it and I think that's what made my day.  I haven't painted in two years and I wasn't sure how this one was going to turn out but it ended up being a big hit. Below is a picture of the painting. It's two canvases and there's glitter on the wings.  I loves the glitter. The morning before the party I added a few flat jewels at the tips of the wings and the ends of the antennas.
