1  Photo Cup Wraps in Party Planning by ljc on: March 17, 2009 09:09:42 AM

I was trying to come up with a photo project for St. Patrick's Day, but really this could work for any occasion. It's a fun way to decorate for a party and help your guests keep track of their drinks.

You just need photos of all your guests and the cup wrap template that you can download here.

They are pretty easy to make. Use the template to cut the cup wrap shape out of your photos...

... and then tape the photo wrap to the cups.

The wraps wouldn't even have to be of people, you could use photos that match your party theme.

2  Valentine's Day Lollipops in Valentine's Day by ljc on: February 06, 2009 12:03:09 PM

I created this project for work and it's pretty easy.

You just download the pdf template, print it out, cut out the hearts and fold them over the lollipops.

There is a version with Valentines messages and a version where you can add your own photo to personalize the lollipops. They are fun to hand out to friends on Valentine's Day.

The project page where you can download the templates and see step by step instructions is here

3  Printable Valentine's Cards in Valentine's Day by ljc on: February 06, 2009 11:58:19 AM

I designed these little Valentines cards for work and you can go and download the pdf and print them out for yourself!

They would be fun to hide around the house, leave on your coworkers desktop or send to school with the kiddies.

The pdf is here.

4  Printable To Do and Grocery lists in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by ljc on: January 30, 2009 12:25:32 PM
I designed these for work as a New Years project. It's pretty easy, just download the pdf's, print them out, cut down the middle and use a bulldog clip to hold a stack together.

I did a cute and a modern version.

You can download the pdf's here

I made a bunch and gave them to my friends for the holidays with their other gifties.

5  Photo Drink Umbrellas in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by ljc on: August 05, 2008 07:22:56 AM

This is a fun project if you are having a summer party and want to jazz up your drinks.

Cut a photo you like into a circle and then snip a slice from the edge to the center of the circle.

Fold the two edges over one another to create a cone. Tape the inside edge and glue the outside edge down with a glue stick.

Stick a little ball of poster putty inside the cone to hold the stick in. I cut wooden skewers in half to make the sticks.

You can make several umbrellas out of different photos so your friends can tell which drink is theirs!

6  Photo Bookmarks in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by ljc on: August 01, 2008 10:52:27 AM

I wanted to make photo bookmarks for our project center at work, but they had to be better/different than your average bookmarks.

I started with a full body photo of my coworker's daughter and created a mirror image of it in Photoshop. I cut her out leaving space at the bottom between her feet.

I taped super strong magnets at the bottom of each figure...

and glued them together at the top.

Now the bookmark snaps onto the page of the book you want to keep your place at. It won't fall out.

For more detailed steps go to the Kodak Tips & Projects Center page...

7  Photo Paper Lanterns in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by ljc on: August 01, 2008 10:32:51 AM

I created this project for work

It uses a pretty common pattern for paper lanterns, but switched up a bit using a favorite photo.

Cut up the photo using the template and fold it up.

I just used transparent tape to hold it together.

They aren't hard to make and look cool when there are bunch of them hanging at a patio party.

To download the template and see more instructions check out the Kodak Tips & Project Center page...

I designed these Photo Book Plates at work that can be printed out plain or with photos as gifts. They were for Father's Day but I think they would work for any occasion... or just for yourself!

You can download the templates here.

9  Photo Balloon Tags in Party Planning by ljc on: May 16, 2008 01:42:20 PM
A really easy decoration for parties are Photo Balloon Tags. They are super easy.

I made this one for my sister's graduation last weekend.

And I made one for my birthday. Yes, I made it for myself, there is nothing wrong with that.

It's pretty straightforward, but there are instructions here AND downloadable templates for the "Congrats!" and "Happy Birthday!" tags you can print out and use.

You could use this idea for all sorts of events like showers or anniversaries!

10  Photo Seed Packet Wedding or Bridal Shower Favors in Weddings and Bridal Showers by ljc on: May 02, 2008 07:29:57 AM

I designed templates for making photo seed packets for wedding favors (or birth announcements) for our Tips & Projects Center at work. I think you could use them for bridal shower gifts too!

You can download the templates and see instructions here.

http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=12958

I think it works best if you have photo editing software so you can add your pictures before you print them out.

With seeds inside it's the gift that keeps on giving!
