Hello to everyone! Some weeks ago my grandma gave me an old piece of furniture which hadn't been used for about 40 years  But I needed something for my decorating project and the little cabinet was fitting. Do you want to see the results? Here it is:







In reality it doesn't blare like this (photoflash).

What do you think? On the other side it has the words ""the sea" and "dublin" plus some names of villages at the Baltic Sea.  ""Meer, il mare, la mer" and "havet" are German, Italian, French and Swedish for "the sea", "Ostsee" is the German word for "Baltic Sea"  I love my little project and it reminds me of holidays 

A happy weekend to everyone! Isn't it wonderful to have time for crafting? Today I made a gift for a friend of mine. What do you think about this pair of earrings? I really liked them first, but now I'm getting more critical. I'm not that sure if the combination of pearls is really nice   Any sugestions/opinions?

Hello everybody.

My little brother is about 12,000 kilometres away from me. He's spending one year at the Portland State University. I haven't seen him since September 2006. My Dad and brother are flying to the US to visit him for his birthday next weekend. So I'd like to make him the BEST presents  Some little goodies he can use. Or something that reminds him of us. Do you have any ideas? I need things that are easy to make and don't take too much time. I already made him some cute mable magnets, a calender and a cute little notebook for taking notes about his trip. I also want to bake him his favourite muffins. Do you know if it is allowed to take them to the US by plane? Any more ideas? Thanks in advance! I very much appreciate your help! Photos would be great, too.

He loves music (especially punk rock), going to concerts, movies, reading and he also enjoys playing the guitar.
