1084  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Re: All Hallows' Eve Mischief on: October 05, 2007 10:00:07 AM
sure ^_^

the background is a page from Frankenstein - i used india inks and sparkly pens to create the diamond pattern that you often see in vintage halloween stuff. the upper left is "aged" with more inks to create the moon, and the stars are silver and gold confetti. the graveyard outline is black sharpy. the 31 is newsprint cutouts pressed into red seal wax (which burns wicked bad, btw, i will remember to use something other than my finger next time). the vintage photo is something i had, the skull "mask" added on, with a voodoo inspired headdress made of a crystal and a feather from my parrot. the purple and red paper behind the vintage image is handmade tibetan paper that i love love love because it tears so beautifully. other doodles done with sparkly pens. i think that's it!

Unfortunately i can't post the picture of my entry to this contest because this is my first time posting on craftster (how did i not know about this place?!)

Anyway, this is my first ATC. I found the size challenging but it was really fun to do. Now if i could just learn how to scan glittery things...
Hopefully the lovely and talented people of this community will click to check it out ^_^
