1  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects / Re: Doctor Who T-shirts - tracing with Sharpies! :D on: September 16, 2009 09:15:22 AM
Oh I LOVE this idea!

I have a bit of info to share. On one of my many crazy nights around the house my hubby was wearing a white t-shirt around right? Well, we have a dry erase board by the door in the kitchen and me knowing how anal hubby is about his shirt being WHITE. I acted like I was going to write on it with one of the dry erase marker's. To my surprise he says "go ahead, I don't care" Grin so I did! I covered that shirt in all colors with word saying what my hubby is to me. HAHA...he wear's it all the time and it's been through several washings and even put in with other white's to be bleached. Guess what....the color is still there! So after seeing this I thought I'd share and let other's know that dry erase marker's work also.
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: fantasy themed wedding? on: July 08, 2009 02:40:57 PM
I had a Cinderella theme wedding and one of my favorite things was the white lights wrapped in tulle. We bunched it and taped it to the floor down the aisle and it was so pretty and looked like clouds. My daughter is also using this idea for her wedding next year.
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: Need pattern help from dog owners on: May 22, 2009 10:40:01 PM
My little Lacey Bug is a 3 lb. yorkie and her measurements are... Neck 8"      Chest 10"       Length 9"

Normally when we buy her clothes it's a size xsmall. Hope this helps you some for the tiny breeds.

Also, my 2 1/2 year old dashchund's measurments are Neck 10"      Chest 16"    Length 18" (keep in mind doxie's have wider chests and longer bodies) Wink

Good luck with your sales!

Ok that does it...I have thought about it long enough. I ummm...HATE my big fat arms my mom handed down to me so I usally try to stay away from sleeveless things. BUT I LOVE THIS DRESS!!! So, my idea was to make the dress with straps but put a kind of ruffled wrap around the shoulders to match the bottom of the skirt. This way I too can have a pretty dress like yours but have my big fat mama arms covered too. Grin We shall see....
I'll post a pic as soon as I'm done and thanks so much for the tutorial. If nothing else my teen daughter can wear it. Thank God she got the skinny arms.

Oh man...
Although I find your outfit to be super cute I must warn ya. ..See that look on his face in the second pic? yep! You're in for it...make sure you hide your shoes at night. I know how them lil boy chocolate weenies are when we make them wear clothes. I must ask ya though, what in the world did you brive that baby with to get that hat on? Bucky would have NEVER went for that one not even for a min.  Cheesy
