I got the last two bookmarks today, so here's pictures of all three!

This one is from dukeslax44, an awesome knit bookmark.

and it has little holes near the top for two pens!

then this one from flareon, (i love your handwriting!) i love it!! my mom couldn't believe you made it.

and this one from the meow wont purr, (great handwriting too!) i loved how you put your username in the return address label! it's made of sparkly vinyl, like 50s diner seats, lol, i love it!!

thanks swap partners!! and if you got a bookmark from me and want a picture posted, let me know. great swap!

ETA: i almost forgot, the meow wont purr sent me two bookmarks, she also sent me a red (my fav color!) one with a thoreau quote. i forgot to take a picture, oops!

I've made the Simplicity 4998, it's a great dress! I did it in this awesome red eyelet, I LOOOVE it.
Here's (FINALLY!) a picture of Simplicity 4998. This is me and my dad at my school's Father Daughter dance. Excuse the pale-ness. Smiley

3  Re: Nail Painting designs in Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions by bookwormbry on: February 27, 2005 05:30:04 PM
I love bright colors so i paint my nails many different colors. Like each nail will be a different bright color. ((like lime green neon pink orange...etc...) Then i take electrical tape and cut it into strips ((very small ones)) Duct tape is too tough but electrical tape has a weaker adhesive so it doesn't pull off the colors. Then i put the strips on my nails diagonaly and paint black polish over top i let it dry and then pull off the strips and i have black and multi-color striped nails.
((this pic is from the 1st time i painted my nails this way... so i left the middle fingers black that time))

Blue painter's tape works even better than electrical tape, and it's probably cheaper... you can get a huge duct tape sized roll for a couple of bucks. I usually use blue tape for a french manicure, because my hand shakes too much to get it even, or I'll try to smooth the edge out and I end up going too high up on the nail, etc.

I've never seen a dog with green eyes... hmm, I wonder if it's possible. I'll have to google it, LOL.
