what about alternating saturdays and tuesday nites?!?!  Its a smoke free all ages cafe/community center/club, so unlike nocturnal we wouldnt have to complete our projects before the smokers arrive....

hello ladies and gents...i've decided to  start a new crafting group that will meet weekly at the groovy new hip hop community center/cafe..(they have breakdancing classes on wed nites!!!)called WAX.  It's 1 block north of Alberta on Interstate...I was thinking TUESDAYS OR SATURDAYS...email me with your opinions and I'll make some flyers and post here too...i am going to be out of town from 11/29-12/17 ...so I am hoping to start next week to get it going....

those slippers are great, i have that book and have used it a lot for inspiration, fo rsome reason i still havent made those slippers...i will have to now!  i especially like that cotton you used....my bday is in a few days, i am hoping to get a gift cert to one of my LYS....gurlpurl

i bet there are tons of us crafty housewives lurcking on craftster!  let me think...a house-y kind of tip....old cloth diapers ( if youre a mom too...like me!) are great as rags and also good to use as an inner lining to your own homemade pads ( like gladrags or whatever)  they last forever! 

and for those of us with wee ones still in diapers...like me... vinegar is great to throw in the wash water too since you're not supposed to use bleach on your cloth diapers...(or pads for that matter!)
