So my best friend from high school goes to college like 9 hours from where I go to college...She was just diagnosed with a hyperactive thyroid and it's pretty intense. I've had 2 other friends diagnosed with the same thing in the past (I think I'm the kiss of death here...) But with this one, it went unnoticed for quite a while. It's affecting her heart rate now too, which is why it's especially scary this time. She might actually have to return to our hometown (which isn't far from where I am now) for treatment. And might possibly have to drop out of school for the semester...
I've never been this far away from someone I care about so much when they're sick. I want to send her some love. She's not acting too entirely scared, but I know she's putting up a front... What can I craft and send that will show that I'm here for her, yet not freak her out/make her feel "sick" Any ideas are MUCH MUCH appreciated.
umm...information about her/our friendship is probably helpful, eh?
-we've been friends for 6 years now.
-we've traveled to france together.
-obsession with skittles/peanut M&Ms
-like a million inside jokes that i couldnt begin to explain...
-she's a psychology/theatre major
-she's in band - plays clarinet/sax/flute/piccolo
Idk, that's all I can think of atm. She just told me about everything like an hour ago, I'm still a little worked up.
Thanks for any suggestions.
