92  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: Hello Potter and Guitar Hero! The Gifting of Co-Workers Continues! on: December 11, 2007 08:11:26 PM

I do my stencil a little bit differently. I cut the stencil as is, and then I iron the whole thing on to the shirt.  After that I pick off the pieces that don't need to be there then re-iron on the stencil.

That way makes more sense to me than bridges.  I think it might just be me though.  Who knows Huh

I do it that way also, it's not just you!  Heck of a lot easier that using bridges!

94  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / scrubs? on: September 29, 2007 08:10:36 PM
My 2.5 year old son is going to be a doctor for Halloween, but i can't fathom paying the outrageous prices I'm finding people want for child-sized scrubs...  I can find dozens of patterns to make adult scrubs, but none for kids (not even in the costume patterns lines).  Anyone ever make child sized scrubs or know of a pattern?  I'm thinking *maybe* I can find a pattern for some pajamas and alter it... It's my first attempt at making clothing so I'm not so sure about winging it... I've only sewed quilts up until this point.
