It has the underneath kind...it is a really nice machine, here is a picture


sorry they're sideways i am feeling like a genius just because i got them onto craftster.
anyway, the various bobbins that I have, have gotten all mixed up and they seemed to be correct but as I said there have been tangles (and tangles and the tension seems off)...so I am hoping the trouble really has just been the bobbin. Maybe I haven't been appreciating my New home (really Janome right?...anyone). I am also a pretty new sewer so I haven't used any of them for long.
