21  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Ongoing Wish Swap Round 34 Gallery on: May 16, 2008 08:18:52 PM
I received from maxparadise a couple days ago.  She made me three cute little birdy pins (wist inspired), a little card holder purse, which is DARLING, a collaged birdy journal, three pairs of dessert earrings (also wist inspired) and if that weren't enough she sent some beads, whimsies and skeleton keys!

Thanks so much maxparadise!

I am finally posting the goodies I got from rossana9041!  She made me a birdy shopping bag which is very cute and detailed.  It looks like it took awhile!  She also sent me some extras:  stamps and stamp pad, beads, stickers and an ornament kit.  Thanks rossana9041!

Yay! Thanks again rossana!

I claim sajona for some necklaces and/or bracelets.

This is my third claim, 2 sent, 0 received.

My name is Tracey, I am 24 and I live in Central Montana.  I am getting married in June.  We live on a cattle ranch.  My favorite things are birds, frogs, knitting, hand-dyed wool, chocolate, beads and millions of other things you can find out about if you want in my profile.

I love purple, green, pink the most, but any and all colors can win my heart.

I don't like skulls (real or otherwise), bugs (again, real or otherwise) or 100% acrylic yarn.  I am a huge fan of contemporary and vintage style anythings and everythings.  I also do, or have done, pretty much every craft there is.  I love art.  My most wanted wishes are in RED, but anything you send will be loved.

the dragonflies are funny because i have had those for a long time, but of course when i needed them, they were no where to be found!  after much searching, and cleaning, they resurfaced and i was stoked about adding them.  my biggest concern was the size, did it fit your itty bitty wrists?  Smiley

i have done that too nofury and it is very rewarding.  it is funny too, at least with me, that i would rather put together a kit for someone else in resin or crochet or something else that i don't know much about, than put together one for myself!

the way i see it, you wouldn't necessarily need to be an expert in a craft to make a kit on how to do it... just do some homework.  you can find online tutorials, instructions, supply lists and actual supplies and then just put the kit together for your partner.  the best thing is, then you get to learn too!

don't be afraid to dive in and make a kit just because you don't know how to do it yourself.  if your partner then in turn needs assistance, there are millions of helpful crafters here willing to lend a hand.
