1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Magic Yarn Ball Round 14 Gallery on: December 10, 2010 08:22:40 PM
Since it's a slow night I am posting pics of what I sent to froggmama since she has received:

I sent two skeins of berocco's "vintage wool" yarn in a bright pink and two skeins of pink and gray lace weight yarn. I made a pendant and a soldered Christmas ornament and a decorated frog jar full of mints. The other stuff is a notepad, reindeer mint tin, several handmade ornaments, chocolate, a hairpin lace shawl pattern, two foodie erasers, hot chocolate, and a frog rubber stamp. Here is a close up of the pendant:

Hope you like everything froggmama!
2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Magic Yarn Ball Round 14 Gallery on: December 10, 2010 07:57:29 PM
I am finally posting my yarn ball from froggmama:

The first pic shows froggy stickers, a grow-a-frog toy, green wool yarn, a crocheted frog, manicure set, hand-written instructions for learning crochet (they are kind of hidden) and a crochet book with tons of cute patterns.

This photo shows the roving she sent me to spin, a notepad, playing cards, crochet chapstick case, magic towel, kleenex holder, ribbon, crocheted decorations and a clever little jewelry holder (at least that's what I think it is!)

There were also two balls of cotton yarn - one green and one white. I don't know how I left them out of the picture.

Thanks for everything froggmama!

4  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Ongoing Wish Swap Round 58 on: May 06, 2010 02:51:49 PM
I claim babalina for recycled art with frame.  Smiley
This is my first claim this round.

My name is Tracey, I am 26 and I live in Central Montana. My favorite things are birds, frogs, spinning, hand-dyed fiber, chocolate, beads and millions of other things you can find out about if you want in my profile.

I love purple, green, and pink the most, but any and all colors can win my heart.

I don't really like skulls, bugs, animal print or a lot of acrylic yarns.  I am a big fan of contemporary or vintage style anythings and everythings.  I also do, or have done, pretty much every craft there is.

It's not solely devoted to spinning, but it's getting there!

9  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / Re: Can anyone help me ID this wheel? on: November 29, 2009 02:02:12 PM
Thanks for your help, I think I might take it into the local fibre arts guild meeting and see if they can teach me to use it. This way maybe they can help me get it set up also. I appreciate your responses. Have a great day everyone!
10  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / Can anyone help me ID this wheel? on: November 21, 2009 08:59:02 PM
This is probably an easy question for the experts, but I just got into spinning and my mother-in-law gave me her wheel. It was made by the Hutterites, but thats all I know and I would like to learn how to use it, but I need to know more about it in order to find instructions. Thanks for any help anyone can offer!
