This is so cute. Do you have a link to the pattern you used for the flower?

Love it! I've been saving my corks to do something like this, but I think it's going to take me a while to get enough Smiley

I made it from an bed sheet I had that didn't fit my mattress and gold ribbon.

I got the idea for it from www.burdastyle.com, but I try as I might I can't find the link to it. I didn't download the patter, I just saw this picture and made my own from there and changed it a little:

What do you guys think?

This site has pretty much EVERYTHING about that house.

Hope that helps!

breemonkey , I sewed on the layers. Thanks!

Thank you, laughsforfree! It is beyond easy, I promise. I bet you could just show it to somebody who can sew when you do get married and ask them, I'm sure they could do it. Just have them copy a pattern from any A-line tube top dress and sew on some ruffles. Smiley

Thanks for the comments guys!

Hardyjenni,  I had an A-line tube top type of dress that I got back in high school, so I just used tracing paper to trace the different parts of the dress and then used that as my pattern. It was very, very easy!

Maehem, it does have a zipper, so I think I will go with your idea! Thanks!

I have been in love with Betsey Johnson's Tea Party Dress for so long, but could never justify spending $400 on it. Soooo, I made it.
It would have cost me $40 to make, but I had a gift card to Joann so it was free!

And with me in it:

I haven't sewn on the back part of the skirt portion yet, because I'm trying to think of the best way to deal with the sash. Sew it directly on to the dress, or leave it separate?

Comments appreciated!

I modeled the mask off of a gas mask, using cast material and acrylic paint. The glasses are leather, and the inside has foam padding. I also made the dress and the rest of his costume. Pretty much everything other than the necklace and the incense holder. Lots of makeup on me to make me look ill, it looked good in person, in the photos kinda like I am bruised.

We had so much fun dressed up there, even though only a couple of people knew what we were supposed to be. Most people thought we were Spy vs. Spy and a Crack Head.
