1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Harliquin Corset dress (pic pudgy) on: November 30, 2007 10:05:23 AM
I made this a couple months ago to go to a Birthday Massacre concert. I modeled it after a dress mentioned in their namesake song.

It's an underbust corset. I wore it with a black long sleeve shirt to the concert, but I can't find that shirt right now, so I tried to recreate the look(unsucessfully)

I took me two weeks to make. I cut out all the black and white squares and sewed them together.

It's reversable too. It's pinstripe on the other side Smiley

Anywhoo Let me know what ya think
2  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Nascar Blanket (My first quilt type thingy) on: November 30, 2007 09:50:56 AM
This is my first blanket/quilt/thingy

I made it for my little brother for Christmas. He loves nascar(Du Pont 24 is his favorite) So, when I saw this fabric I had to try.

The stiching around the squares and on the binding is yellow(though it looks kinda white in the pictures)

I attached fleece as the backing to the blanket and pillow case.

I made it in all machine washable materials, so it's easier on my stepmom. My little bro is a dirty little kid. Let me know what you think Smiley
3  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Khavi Comicon Costume on: November 30, 2007 09:06:26 AM
This is my first post, let me know if something is wonky...

I made this a couple of years ago when I went to comicon. I wet as Khavi from Elfquest.

Here are a couple detail pics of the sleeves. The hem is done the same way.

What do you all think?
