3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Ideas for turning my son into "loathe"? on: November 23, 2007 10:10:07 AM
My son (10) signed up for a challenge at his school's upcoming word fair. What the kids do is choose a word from the dictionary and then come to school in a costume that represents their word. My son chose the word 'Loathe'. I like his choice, but I'm really at a loss as to how to physically portray loathe  Shocked.

The first place prize is a huge book package, which my son is uber excited about. I'm really wracking my brain here but coming up short.

Any ideas on how to make a loathe costume?  Huh

what a great idea, do you know what you're going to do with it?

No, not yet. I have kids, so I don't think there's anything I can do with it that won't embarrass them. Cheesy

Very nice, and the colors look fantastic!
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: two tops and a t shirt dress on: October 30, 2007 10:37:52 AM
Oooh, I love the t shirt dress!! I think it's simple, not plain, which I really like a lot. But a swan applique would be awesome too. I guess you really couldn't go wrong with that dress. Maybe if you made the applique a pin instead, you could add it to the dress and remove it when the mood strikes you.
