1  Grey's Anatomy Bracelet in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Szecsuanee on: February 12, 2013 12:22:15 PM
It has been a long time since I visited this forum, but I finally got to posting something that is worth sharing. Cheesy

I have discovered recently that I have been watching a TV show for more than 8 years now, which means that I started watching it when I was 12...
So based on this discovery of mine, I thought I should make something in connection with my addiction, so here it is. Smiley

And a close-up:

You can read more about this (and my other works) on my blog, if you find it interesting. Smiley
Thanks so much for looking, comments and critiques are welcome. Smiley
Have a nice day! Smiley

2  Zolino in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Szecsuanee on: July 26, 2012 09:40:34 AM
I have been planning to make this pattern for 5 years, and finally here it is. I'm very happy with how it came out, even if I only used leftover threads in case I mess it up. Still, i think the colors go well together.

And a dark close-up shot:

Thx for looking! Smiley

3  Net-like bracelet in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Szecsuanee on: July 18, 2012 07:46:32 AM
My first try at an idea that I had recently. It didn't work out as I wanted it to, I wanted smaller holes, so probably an other one to come soon! Cheesy

Sorry for the crappy pictures, I had to make them in a hurry, s+o I couldn't find a normal background where you can actually see something of the bracelet...  Roll Eyes

4  Celtic bracelet in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Szecsuanee on: July 09, 2012 01:17:42 AM
I really wanted last week-end to pass, so I made this little goodie. I love these kinds of patterns, but I rarely make them as I rarely have enough thread of the same color for these.
This time I did have some, so here's the result:

And an "in progress" picture:

5  Shrink plastic earring-to-bes in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Szecsuanee on: June 29, 2012 12:05:15 AM
I've made these little goodies with a friend. I've been meaning to try shrink plastic for a very long time, so I'm really happy that I've finally come to it, because it really is fun, so maybe I've found a new addiction. (just maybe, as I've only found shrink plastic for a lot of money...)

The ones with the buildings and the memes are mine, the others were drawn by my friend. I'm not really good at drawing, so I chose copying images from the internet, not knowing anything better to do. This is a before picture, but then we both had to leave, so we baked our shrinks separately.

Ready for baking.

The funniest part-- shrinking. Smiley

Aand shrinked.

The finished things.
Now I will just have to find some ear-ring hooks to finish them.
I'm quite happy with how they turned out at first try, probably more to come.

Thanks for looking, comments, tips, feedback is very welcome!! Smiley

6  The Enya Top in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Szecsuanee on: May 28, 2012 01:53:21 AM
Hey everyone!

I had to make a costume for myself for a competition as I couldn't find anything that suited the music, Carribean Blue from Enya. I did it on Friday, and lazy me didn't finish off the edges, but I thought that the audience won't see it anyway. And I have  exams at university in the next 3 weeks, so I thought I shouldn't take too much time with making things, and learn instead. I wanted to upload the project with some action photos, so here they are.

Still at home, right after finishing:
Ignore the messy room please.

and in action, on the competition:

How to can be found here, thank you very much for sharing!

7  "Chaos" Knotted earrings in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Szecsuanee on: April 03, 2012 04:08:01 AM
Quite a few things have been goins on around me, and I just didn't have the energy or the patience or the mood for cradfting anything. But finally here it is. It took about 5 hours to make, I can't believe I spent this much time with making just this one.
Again, the pattern was improvised, it came along the way. I didn't really bother when picking the colors, I just grabbed some thread from my stash and this came out.
I actually quite like them, they look a lot like what is going on in my head. Funny.

A close-up.

8  "The Ugly Truth" earrings in CHALLENGE 72 ENTRIES by Szecsuanee on: March 04, 2012 11:20:55 AM
Hey there everyone!

I have been watching the Craftster challenges for quite a long time, and when I saw this, I knew that this time I will most definitely post. So here it is! Cheesy

I saw this little gag in the beginning of the movie "The Ugly Truth", ansd I've found it really funny. When I saw this challange, this thing immediately popped into my head, and about a week ago I designed the pattern to make this.
They are made with multi-color alphabet technique, and were finished in about 5-6 hours.  Smiley

Another shot of them with the book that I found lying around:

And the little guy in action:

I hope I did everything right with the entry, like i said, this is my very first Craftster Challange.  Grin

Thank you very much for looking, feedback is very welcome! Smiley

9  Even more dog toys in Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects by Szecsuanee on: February 29, 2012 01:01:50 PM
Hi again!

I got addicted to these thins, so here's two new. It's sad that my dog doesn't play, I would be so happy if these would be used.  Sad

First the famous fleece tug toy, that is now pretty popular among people (and their dogs Cheesy) doing agility.

The other one is a pretty much failed heart, with a small heart patch. This was the first ever patch I made, so it's really wonky, but a dog doesn't mind...  Grin

Thanks for watching! Smiley

(brace yourselves, more to come, I have lots of ideas!)

10  The Most Simple Dog Toy in Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects by Szecsuanee on: February 24, 2012 02:05:19 PM
Hey there!  Wink

So, after making a scarf+hoodie thing that I posted in clothing, I had some fabric remaining, and I didn't want to throw it out, so I figured I should make a toy for my dog (who actually hates these things, she rarely plays with anything...).

(please ignore the messy room...)
She was not actually playing when these pictures were taken, she just knows the fetch command, so she got a treat whenever she brought this thing to me.  Cheesy Roll Eyes

I also made a tutorial, it can be found on my blog, here:

Thanks for looking,
feedback and comment is much appreciated!  Roll Eyes
