I just found this pic from last July, of my very first ever attempt at marshmellow fondant. It's a birthday cake for my cousin's 14 year old stepdaughter.
I gotta say the fondant was not nearly as intimidating as I was making it out to be, and it actually tasted good too. When I try it again I will roll it a little thinner though, this ended up being a healthy quarter of an inch thick.
Oh and if anyone is wondering (the pic I have of it after we demolished half of it is terribly blurry) the inside is a double layer of homemade vanilla cake with cheesecake flavored buttercream. Yum!
