1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Random Drawings from the last year on: September 26, 2009 10:17:43 AM
I've posted some other drawings this week, but in an attempt to keep it all orginized, I tried to categorize them THEN post them...well, I'm kind of lazy and have a few left, so they're all going in here!  Wink

Set My Heart on Fire (I was on break from school and bored out of my mind when I drew this...it seems to be a theme with me to create when I'm bored):

The Body:

Strawberry Fields (Just a little doodle from this summer. I was sad and listening to the Baetles a lot):

Marianne (This is my old roommate. I didn't like her much. Yes, she really does look that creepy):

2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / The Faceless Series (slightly pic heavy) on: September 24, 2009 12:52:37 PM
This past year I have taken to drawing far more than I used to. During this time, I took to expressing my emotions/states of being/innermost thoughts through my drawings. Oftentimes, these ended up faceless. Not entirely sure why, but it seemed to fit.
Touch the World:

Dream of Sunrise:

Like You Promised:

Here's My Heart:

Break Free:

Betrayal:

Thanks for looking!

3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Say hello to my little friends ;-) on: September 23, 2009 08:12:01 PM
I have been drawing more in the last year. Living with another artist kind of rubs off on you. Here are some of my cuter drawings from this past year:
The Little Ringmaster: I drew this mostly to entertain one of my best friends. Loosly based on the music video for Panic! At The Disco's "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies."

Happy Little Octopus: I was really bored one day, so I created this little fella.

Fail Monster: I was in class one day, spacing out when I drew this one. He has become my favorite. He is my imaginary character who is responsible for all of life's fails. Sorry for the slightly blurry photo!

Thanks for looking ^_^

4  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / I am Random Narnian #1! on: July 08, 2008 09:22:24 AM
I work at a bookstore. About a month after (apparently you can't rush into these things!) the Prince Caspian movie came out the store held a Prince Caspian party, for which us employees had the option to dress up. I nearly peed myself in excitement! So, while all the other participants dug up their English school kids uniforms, I went to work on the most ambitious piece of clothing I have ever made! (I made the earrings and the necklace too, but you can't really see them)

Ironic that I hate carrots? But I was super pleased with how she turned out. I actually had to stare at her for a while. Is this a creation only the creator can love? How might I improve?
