So beautifully done! Something like this could get tacky real fast, but you did it with class, kiddo, simply gorgeous!

How adorable! I'm a huge Oz fan (my name is Dorothy) and collect all sorts of things having to do with the movie. I would so buy these if I saw them in a store, you did a fantastic job!

It would, Sarah_! It actually helps light up our little patio that's outside my bedroom window.

Exactly! Yay for using up all those Christmas lights!

The battery in my little remote control went out last week and I was sad. Lazy me had to actually get up off the bed to turn them on and off. It takes a tiny, weird-sized battery (A23, 12-v), and I was worried I wouldn't find any. But I did. Back to being lazy.

Thank you, Bexadrine, you're right, it IS tranquil. One of my favorite things to do is bring a friend or family member into my room, have them lay down on my bed and close their eyes (at first they're like, "Um, do what? haha). I shut my over-head light out, tell them to open their eyes and then I click on the window lights. The reaction is always one of surprise, "Oh! Ooooh! How beautiful!" and then they don't want to get up. I've had some lovely, quiet conversations this way, thanks to these inexpensive Christmas lights.

Hey, if you do put them in your window I hope you'll post a picture here, would love to see your interpretation of this idea!

The lights would make any sheer, even cheapies ones, look awesome! I hope you'll do it, you'll absolutely love it.
