Hello you guys! First of all thanks SOOOOO much for all your kind words, prayers, and just plain old caring ways. You guys rock, and I have never felt more love from an online community. I've made it out of another surgery, and I'm starting to come around! I'm a beast baby! No sicko virus or lung condition can keep me down! Thanks to everyone who's asked about my mom. She completed her masectomy and she's recovering slowly, but surely. I've received about four different packages, and the boy is in the process of taking pictures and I'll walk him through posting them. The items were so lovely, and thanks to my partners who sent to me even though I was being held hostage at the hospital. Please let me know if there are any of my partners who didn't get an angel, or if there's anything else that I need to start catching up on after my next surgery. (This should be reeeeallly fun ) I haven't really been home that long, so I'll be sending more messages later. Hello. I'm Pinky's (man it feels weird calling her Pinky) sister and I'm trying to figure out how to navigate this site. I was going through her bookmarks to figure out where I need to post, and who I need to answer to. This was the first one, so I'll just post it here. If anyone knows who I need to send it to, I'd love it if you could provide those forums to me. First off, I appreciate all the kind words you all have given. Your thoughtfulness is really overwhelming! Now I see why she spends so much time here! For the update, she's completed her first surgery, but she's really weak and she's in a rehab center. It still hurts when she breathes, and she can't really talk much above a whisper. And that, my friends, is KILLING her. lol. She's been writing a lot of notes though and this site has been the subject of many of them. Once she recovers and she can get up and move around, she'll be back to another surgery, as soon as she's strong enough. To put it in terms we can all understand, she got sick with sort of a cold that progressed quickly, and then her nose, lungs, and throat all turned against each other. Her allergies are extremely severe and she had been congested for a long time. Like for days she couldn't really breathe through her nose and nothing was giving her much relief. It was really bad...so with her being sick on top of that..she wasn't getting enough air. Okay, I've bored you enough with the medical mumbo jumbo. But basically the doctors are looking to do some things in her nose and lungs that will keep this from happening again. Because she's had problems with congestion and breathing for a while. Okay. That's it for my monologue. On top of that, we've found out that my mother does in fact have breast cancer and shes gonna have a masectomy. So our family is juggling many hats. I'll be here for two more days until it's time for me to go back. Once again, thanks so much for all your thoughts and prayers. Everything is greatly appreciated. Ok. Here's the sitch. I have come down with a respiratory viral infection..it's horrible...More than horrible. But the boy will be checking mail, and leaving craftster up so that I can instruct him on how to update statuses, etc...so hopefully I'll be up and running within the next few days, guys.
P.S. the boy Knows NOTHING about crafts,..unless I've sent him with a list, so he may not really understand the DC lingo and other acronyms/..but bear with him, I'll give him the answers. lol
