thank you guys for all your comments.  I am glad you all like it.  My step daughter really likes it too, all of her friends are so jealous of her laptop bag and now everyone of them wants one...

Would you consider doing a tutorial on how you made that sleeve for the laptop?  What did you pad it with? Foam or something? I really need to make one of those and it appears that you used Velcro which I like.

I just finished sewing this bag and took pics of it right away so i can post it here.  This is my new design, a laptop bag for my stepdaughter.  Her dad just bought her a brand spankin new eeppc laptop, and she ask me if i can make her a bag for it.  I am going to surprise her when she comes home, i hope she likes it!!!

Thanks for the compliment.  nop, i did not use a pattern, i made my own.  i saw this bag on a movie "Lie with me" .  Through the entire movie the girl is using only one purse and its this kind of pattern, except when she went to attend a wedding, but hers is made of jean fabric and i really like it so the next day i made my own...
