23  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / Re: Ideal size for baby blanket? on: February 16, 2008 05:06:12 PM
Hooooly crap. I've been asking people how big a baby blanket should be for the past week now with no answers. Rah, I'm a little annoyed now. I just started a pattern for a blanket that is to be 30" by ... However long I decided to make it :/

^ oh my god, skittles. That sums it up perfectly.

You're hair is AMAZING, I just wish I could dye my hair bright colors and still have a job  Cry
How did you make your eyelashes orange? They look like FIRE!

AND, the title of this thread reads like an eBay listing... I laughed.

I've got permission to post photos, yay.
Okay, I haven't put pictures up of what I sent because I took photos on my parents camera. Their camera is different from mine. I was trying to stick the plug in the wrong hole...  Grin

But it's figure out and so here.
In this photo you can see a pillow with skully print that I gave shiny eyes too. Plus the back is this relaly amazing plush fabric. Then there is a pair of armwarmers with detachable skully pins. They're made of glittery mohair and they're very comfy. Then there is a scarf in the middle. It has a huge pocket on each end, they're really deep, came up to my wrists. Then there is a little modified altoid tin, it's pretty cute. A little pouch with a skully pin. A pair of beaded skull earrings. A beaded skull keychain. And another trinket box with plush red fabric on the inside. The reason there's two boxes is because I found an altoid tin and it was really last minute that I made that.

Better view of pillow and armwarmers

Close up of small bits

Box guts. The altoid tin is lined with black and turqoise felt and has a border of seed beads along the inside.

Happy sheets said she prefers bright colors and sugar skulls so I made everything as bright and glittery as physically possible (for me).
