1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / smock top with ruffle in liberty tana lawn on: July 05, 2008 03:55:24 AM
I just finished this top for my daughter yesterday. I've been itching to use this liberty tana lawn (a remnant bin find!) for ages as I loe the feel and drape of it.

The pattern is Butterick B4118, which I adapted a little. I blogged it here: http://angharadhandmade.blogspot.com/2008/07/sewing-for-my-girl.html

I'll definitely make this one again, with the same modifications. There's plenty of width there, so it should fit for a while.
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / napkin set with matching pouch- link to tutorial on: April 06, 2008 07:46:01 AM
Hi! I've just posted my very first tutorial over on my blog for a napkin set with matching linen pouch to store them in. Hope it will be of some use to someone. I made the set as a wedding gift for some close friends.

Here are the links (it's in two parts as it's quite picture-heavy!):

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / lace scarf in handspun yarn on: October 08, 2007 04:59:54 AM
Hi! I'm new here. Just finished this lacy scarf in handspun 100% wool by Debbie Bliss.

I've had the yarn in my stash for a while and was having a rummage the other day and thought I'd knit it into an autumnal scarf.

Think I'm going to do another scarf next in some purple artesano alpaca - lace again - I just love knitting lace!
