1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: 50's dress for a niece, Vikingmom style on: July 31, 2009 08:27:32 PM
Too gorgeous!  I'm sure mum and girlet will adore it.  I know I would, if I happened to be clever enough to make that, or lucky enough to be gifted it.  Well done!

2  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / A reversible skirt and 2 tops on: October 08, 2007 01:42:00 AM
Grin Been a mad sewer tonight!

Made this reversible panel skirt for an 8 year old.  It has an attached belt that snaps onto the outside to keep it up.  One side has silver glittery dragonflies printed on and the other has verigated pink serging detail.

And this is a simple shirred halter top.

This is just a cotton crossover halter top that snaps together at the back.'

Was lots of fun but now I'm sleepy! lol

That is just awesome!  You have such control over the colours.  I am in the "chuck it in and see what comes out" camp, not by choice though, lol.

Off to scope out your blog!

You guys are amazing!  Your yarns are all so even and gorgeous.  I love all the different colours.

I have 2 for my first Fibre Friday.  Smiley

This first one is spun from coopworth roving, that was gifted to me.

This is spun from my hand dyed polworth roving, and plied with irredescant thread.

Cheesy I have never dyed with the roving plaited either, so after reading your post last night I had to go and try, even though it was 1am. Embarrassed   Cheesy  It was lots of fun, thank you for the inspiration!  (Yours is much prettier though - I gotta scope out those dyes!)
