I have made some using an H hook and just one strand of yarn.  They don't work up as fast, but they still turn out just fine.   The bigger hook and 2 strands turned out slippers too big for my feet.  I wear a 6.5.

I love old stuff like that, just thinking about where it has been, who used it, it has a history. 

I am pretty sure the second is a sandwich wrap.  They are really neat, I make them, too.  Put your sandwich in the middle, wrap it up, no trash!  My DD loves them, I made them in all different fabrics for her.

Oh wow, that is awesome!  I have been a Bob Ross fan as long as I can remember.  He was a great person and a wonderful artist.  I was so sad when he died. 

That is so cute!  I have never used my serging for anything other than serging, I will have to actually read the instructions so I can do something like that!  lol 

Just a question for you, WHERE do you find the needles for your serger?  I have a Janome that uses the same needles and am having a booger of a time finding new needles.  I only have 2 left from the extra 5 that came with it.
