1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Macro Photography entry - Rust wants to be pretty too on: April 22, 2008 03:01:29 AM
Man it's hard to pick just one, I love macro stuff.
I took this in Wales when we were staying at a friend's cottage for the weekend, it's the front of a very pretty but abandoned house just in the town, the contrast has been upped slightly but the colours are still accurate.

I posted a few other shots from the same place in the post your photography here thread if anyones interested Smiley
2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Tiki Swap? on: March 31, 2008 02:20:27 PM
I'm relatively new here and haven't swapped yet (so couldn't organise anything myself) but would anyone be interested in starting a Tiki/Hawaii swap....I've recently moved house and we're doing our bedroom Tiki themed but its much easier to get motivated if its for someone else than if its just for me Tongue
3  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / EUROPE / Any crafty Expats/English speakers in Brussels? on: September 28, 2007 07:19:34 AM
Hi everyone,

I'm new here so i hope this is in the right place to put this!

I've just moved from the UK to Brussels, Belgium with my BF who's just started work over here. I dont know many people here and as of yet havent found where the decent material/craft shops are so i thought what better place to see if theres anyone in my situation out here than craftster.
I know this is a long shot but if there are and British/ America/ Canadian/ Australian/ new zealand/ etc expats out here or just local girls looking to take a crafty english girl with really really bad french/dutch under their wing and go craft supply shopping then feel free to send me a messsage. Also if anyone would be interested in setting up (or knows of) an english speaking stitch and bitch group/get together in Brussels then that'd be great too!
