1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / pleather Roman togas on: October 11, 2007 10:39:28 PM
Okay, here's the deal...we go to a Jamaican resort that does Toga Night on Thursdays. We are tired of the same old "tie the sheet into interesting shapes" togas. My husband suggested we (meaning I) make us some Biker type togas. What do you guys suggest for material? How hard is pleather to sew and make drape into pleated skirts? I plan to use grommets and black strings to tie the shoulders and thought maybe a belt with using corset ties either on the sides or one in the back. Any thoughts, suggestions? Com'on Craftsters, I have a month to make this work. Thanks for your help in advance.
