22  assymetrical shirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by goofipinay on: October 27, 2007 10:19:47 AM
I took a shirt that my mom bought me years ago (that I never wore) and decided to make it into something I might actually wear =D

I cut one sleeve, shortened it, and painted on it
there's vines, leaves, and the white are butterflies

I messed up trying to draw my logo on there
So..I just bleached some scraps, made circles, and made a pocket

(ps. don't mind the messy hair)

24  off with your head! - queen of hearts in Halloween Costumes by goofipinay on: October 20, 2007 02:04:50 PM
This is my first time doing a costume..
I didn't try to redo any queen of hearts outfits online..since i kinda wanted it to be obvious that I made it (good thing or bad thing?)

I took a red shirt I had laying around, cut a strip off (for a shoulder strap), and then took the rest and made a fake corset...
Then, I took a white one, cut off one sleeve/shoulder and added the shoulder strap...

The skirt was originally too long, so I cut it shorter, darted it, added a zipper..and then added this handkerchief (or whatever) to it (the hearts)

ANYWAY...here's my version of it so far  Smiley
(sorry for the blurry-ness)

The skirt

Here's a closer view of the hearts

I spent a total of $10 making this (for just the skirt)..so I hope it doesn't look THAT cheap  Undecided

I'm currently looking for a tiara, so that's all set..BUT..I wanna add hearts to the shirt (or corset?)...how big/small should it be, and how many?  Grin

Thanks for looking!

25  bracelet in Crochet: Completed Projects by goofipinay on: October 07, 2007 07:51:35 AM
I'm still experimenting and all with my crocheting..
But I realized that I haven't sent anything to my penpal in Greece at ALL >.<

SO I decided that maybe she'd like this?

It's my first time posting anything of mine on here..So, I hope I get some feedback/criticism? =/ =D
