1  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Baked Onion Rings (Extra Crispy) on: August 02, 2011 06:58:51 PM
I made these tonight and they were SOOOOOOOO good. I too seasoned the flour (instead of the breadcrumbs) but in my case, not enough salt. they were still yummy. My mom gobbled up several of them.

thanks for sharing!!!!

OMG I love this. Before I even read the title of the thread, I knew it was a pit bull. The distinct muzzle and floppy cheeks. heehee

and is that a mole I spy under his chin? A pitty beauty mark <3

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Vintage diamond barbie pendants (Ton of pics) on: March 18, 2010 01:16:13 PM

They are not submerged into the resin but when I did pour the resin in I poured it on the face and let it run down. I tried to get as much as possible covered. I have also wanted to try resin forever but I was a little intimidated by it. It is rather expensive and I did not want to spend money on it just to screw it up. It really isn't to difficult to use. Just make sure you get EXACTLY equal parts of the resin and hardener! You can really screw up some neat things if you don't. I have learned to follow the directions perfectly!

you are a friggin rockstar. thanks for the info. Smiley

I've been too intimidated to just go ahead and try it...but I think I just might!!!!! there are so many neat things that I've seen done with it and I just HAVE to try.

They really are lovely. if I saw them in a store I would buy them. I like stuff like that. I'm not a 'girly girl' but when it comes to cute/different/not your typical accessory, I am ALL over it. :p

OMG I love these ! lol@"barbie murderer". Kids are funny.

I really really love these and would totally wear one.

I have never worked with resin but have been wanting to for like the last 2 years...but just havent.

Question, these are not completely submerged in the resin but i see they have a sheen on the faces. are they just coated with resin?Huh

this is probably a really stupid question, but why do you have to freeze it before you cook it???
