11  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Most Recent Knits on: February 20, 2009 06:57:07 PM
The unoriginal hat is Blue Moon Fiber Arts Leticia in Loch Ness. The yarn has been discontinued, but the colorway is still available in other fibers.

The unoriginal hat took me about 3 math lectures, so 3-4 hours? I am still a new knitter, I've heard of people saying it only took them an hour or an hour and a half.

Love the yarn puppy. I did a pair of crochet hats in that same yarn last year! It looks great as a calorimetry!

I've started a zillion knitted projects over the past two years and ripped all of them, save for one very ugly dishcloth. I am excited that I finally finished something. There are a couple rough spots, but overall I am happy with it. I cast on 84 or 88 with size 10 needles in Shetland Chunky Tweeds and only did 10 rows instead of 15.

Originally I was planning on gifting it to my best friend for her birthday.... but... well. I'll have to make her another one because I am attached to this one.

It looks awesome! <3  What type of yarn did you use?

How adorable! I love that idea! It looks great, and I'm not even sure I'd guess it was a recon if I saw it  and wasn't told.

I love them all! I am laughing though because my parents had those sheets when I was growing up... I was looking at the dress before I read the comments and thinking, "I wonder if she made that from a pillow case?" =D

I love the colors and the felt. It is so cute Smiley Did you use a die cutter for the flowers, or did you cut them by hand?
