1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Flat stretch beaded bracelet on: June 04, 2004 09:43:59 PM
A friend of mine has a flat stretch beaded bracelet--I guess you would call it a band bracelet. It has no clasp and just slips on and is snug on the wrist.

It's made of glass beads in vertical rows running around the wrist. When you stretch the beads apart you can see the elastic cord running in and out of each bead in a crisscross pattern. The beads are small and the bracelet is about an inch wide made up of maybe 5 rows of beads. It's not just seed beads, there are some slightly larger ones in the center row.

Any ideas what this type of bracelet is called so I can do a search for directions?
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Oh no! I bought a directional lining fabric--what do I do? on: February 22, 2004 04:12:01 PM
I bought a beautiful fabric to line a tote bag--unfortunately it's palm trees all right side up.  It didn't occur to me at the time, but if I use it to line the bag, half of the trees will be upside down.  Is there anything I can do?

By the way, I'm using the pattern from the Sew Fast Sew Easy sewing book.  Thanks!
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Anyone know of a pattern that looks like this? on: January 08, 2004 01:42:12 PM
I saw this child's sweater here:
http://oliewogs.dolimama.com/gallery.html and I want to make it.  Has anyone seen such a pattern somewhere?
