These are super cool! Are the clips removable? You can make different ones to make sure they match all your clothes.

Yes, the clips come off, so I take them off and put them in my hair if I'm so inclined.... Smiley

What colors would you do?

Black for sure, and red, those colors always look good with gold.

"I love gold, the taste of it, the smell of it" .... I was watching Austin Powers Goldmember the other day. These are super cool! Are the clips removable? You can make different ones to make sure they match all your clothes.

Why spend $300 on a button maker when it's just gonna break in a month or two? If you use them enough, they WILL break. I think they're awesome. Is that Siouxsie Sioux I see mixed in there?

30  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Tips Signs and such. on: July 28, 2008 01:42:12 PM
Here's a TIP for you: Keep doing what you are doing! You are so talented!
The cupcakes signs are beautiful and the mustache mirror is a hoot!
Just curious...what's your technique of getting such perfect lettering on the sign?
Also, what kind of paint is used on the mustache mirror so it won't come off?

Thanks! i actually have the whole sign drawn out in pencil before I start painting and I used a sign painter's brand called "1 Shot" it's usually used to pinstripe cars. It's really awesome it's flexible and super permanent so you can use it on leather, treated wood, plastic, glass, almost anything.
