1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: A dinosaur dress for a toddler! on: August 02, 2012 02:18:56 PM
I used that same fabric for a baby romper, LOVE it!  I love the dress and the orange for the top was a great choice.  My daughter would be super jealous if she saw this, she's loved dinosaurs ever since she saw Land Before Time.  You did a great job! Smiley

They all look great!  You're lucky, my girls never wanted anything "homemade" so I only got to make a few things like this before they were old enough to complain. lol  Anyway, you did a great job on all of them, especially the jellyroll dress!

What a difference paint can make.  I like how you layered the two colors.  I think it really brings out the details much better than when it was just plain white.

You did a great job on it and I love the choice of fabric!

That's a great idea!  My mom gardens and has been looking for a good way to mark her plants.  She'll love this.  Thanks for sharing!

I must add though that we had a lot of outside things.lol. More space out there.

Yes, outside is good!

Thanks Selenavaz!  The robot is my fave too.  I'm considering making a bigger one for my son to play with.  It was easy to make; all squares and rectangles!
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: CRAZY FUN TOWLE's on: July 24, 2012 06:04:32 PM
I love towels like these but you don't see them much anymore.  They are great too keep the towel where it belongs.  (My husband always walks off with the kitchen towel.)  Yours look great by the way!  The butterfly one looks so elegant, and I love the other two as well.  I really need to make some of these!

I don't have to see it painted to tell that's a good idea!  Now I gotta think of some reason I need to make one.  Smiley
