Hi everyone! I bought some jeans at the thrift store for like $3. They were one of only two pair in my size, and I was desperate for something to wear because I had just had a baby. I hated the fit of these jeans though! I tried everything to make them fit better, and when all failed, I knew I had to make a skirt. I started out doing the basic jeans into skirt thing, and found that they wouldn't fit around me with the legs sewed together.
It's actually good though, because I got to thinking, and came up with a design I like MUCH better anyway. I had to use the legs from another pair of jeans for the front and back panels, and all the leg seams were ripped with a seam ripper and sewed back together with a zig-zag stitch.

Let me know what you think! My husband thinks it's hideous, so some feedback (good or bad) would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for looking!
