21  My Cross-Stitch Bead Box in Needlework: Completed Projects by ironik on: September 06, 2008 02:30:37 PM
I'd done a red paper box using some origami technique some while ago (you can have a look at origami box-making instructions here: http://www.instructables.com/id/Origami-Post-it-box/). Today, it looked very boring to me and I decided to give it a new look.

This is how it looked before. booring.

Now, using some cross-stitch to black fabric, it looks very smart and sophisticated:

My sister designed it and ı added some details on it like the 'peace sign' and eyes and that goldy belt. We call it 'Kısamahmut'. Hope you like it =) comments &criticisms always welcome.
