This was picked by my middle child, pretty basic and basically no sew...she is NOT allowed to wear it out though...just for around the house

this is my oldest and her pick...sorry i dont have a better pic, but its corseted up the back and the straps are braided and criss crossed in the back, and no sewed on (poked holes and pulled through and knotted) it is longer, more like a tunic length...its also "in the house wear"

8  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Hello from So Cal on: September 23, 2007 12:21:53 PM
Hello there, I'm new to crafster...sort of...for a few days on and off I have been trying to learn the ropes...but I have 4 kids and a dog and a hubby so its sort of sporadic. I come from a long line of artists on both sides of my family and so (whooda thunkit) I seemed to have picked up a love of all the crafts in the family line and maybe even some they would scoff at (think tattoos).

I paint, sew, draw, glue, photograph and craft until the itch is gone for a while and then usually it comes back again with a mean vengeance. I honestly think I have found my new on line playground....seriously who needs myspace when theres craftster?! Grin
9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Arm Slings for broken arm on: September 23, 2007 11:53:44 AM
My oldest daughter broke her arm and the hospital was too swamped to remeber any aftercare instructions...on a whim after seeing her lug a huge cast around on such a tiny arm , I made these out of an old t-shirt (the pink/skull one) and her fave bandana ...they are hand stiched and I painted the pink one with watered down fabric paint.

this is my first post Cheesy...hope this works

okay i had to modify this, i think...just trying to figure this thingy out here
