21  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Pink Wallet on: January 09, 2009 03:50:13 PM
I made my daughter a bag using stephblues tute, the kid ran back to college with it before I could get a pic. So in this months care package ( I love sending my kid and her dorm mate stuff ) I sent her a wallet to go with it. It has 4 card slots a slot for bill and a change purse. This is my second go at this. Heres the first.

22  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Parrot Clone on: January 02, 2009 09:21:35 AM
My Daughters away at school and she misses her pet parrot Jewels AKA Birdie. I made her a replica of her beloved pet. She has had her going on 12 years, they are really bonded. I showed it to Birdie Viscous and she tried to kill it. The stuffie has wire feet so she can stand or perch on stuff.
The real Birdie.

I stitched these up for my daughters future apartment. Once she graduates and gets a job of course! I think it was an Aunt Martha pattern but I honestly don't remember.

24  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Mendocino Wallet on: December 05, 2008 09:24:10 AM
I made this wallet to match this bag.
It is a copy of a store bought one made of black pleather, I wore out.
I like compact wallets with coin holders.
The wallet was scanned that is why ot looks somewhat smooshed. Grin

25  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Mendocino Hobo on: November 19, 2008 07:23:12 PM
I love orange, cephalopods and 70's style prints. When I came across the Heather Ross "Mendocino" line at fabric.com I had to have it! This is my fave style bag the big structured hobo. ( forgive the laundry room, but lightings nest there )
Yeah it's kinda loud but all my bags tend to be on the whimsical side anyway.

side with fab piping

26  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Nesting Dolls on: October 23, 2008 12:09:17 PM
I was out of gift bags, so I made this tote to hold the gifts. The nesting doll fabric is outside pockets.

I made this bag from remnants left from this bag.
It is meant to be worn across the body.

I found this fabric in a remnant bin. I used it to make a zip topped tote with 2 pockets. It is lined with interfacing and batting.

This style bag is my new favorite. I made it the same way as this one, http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=242409.0. It is lined in black with a zipped pocket. It holds alot.I got the handle at joanns as well as the fabric, I think it is an alexander henry print.
