Thank you Linda this was a first time for me. I am more of a sewer then an artist.
The metallic thread in the waves is that thin metallic blending filament from Kreinik, it is easier to use than the metallic floss. The hanger I made by slipping a piece of poly boning in the channel and sewing the sides shut
The fabric was just muslin I put thru my lazer printer for the text part. I used paint and ink too.

The apple one i made was done with a glass candle stick, i broke the partner to it.

I really liked the mouse one, too!  I also love that needlepoint!

My one and only needlepoint project. Hardest thing I have ever done. Needlepoint and crosstitch type crafts are so hard for me to finish. I don't know if its the repitition or using a graph i just suck at it.

How cute is that mouse one!!  I also desperately need one of those mug organizers...I finally downloaded a free pattern to make one!

You would not believe how much thAt mug organizer holds. I make them as gifts and fill them with items the recipient would use.

The mouse pincushion was from that vintage pattern i posted earlier, it is suppose to be a wrist pinciushion but my daughter doesn't like that style so I left off the elastic. You could even enlarge the pattern.

Yes, but I can only find the backside photo of the one I made.I used an old piece of leather inside so the pins don't poke thru.
The vegie ones were a playset I made a little girl.

I actually collect vintage ceramic animal pincushions, my favorite one is an owl your scissors are his eyeglasses.

Funny I don't use pins when I cut out patterns, I prefer patternweights and a rotary cutter. I do use them at the machine though.

I need more then one pincushion because I have different types of pins.

My favorite one I have made is the http://www.sewmamasew.com/store/media/blog/SMSPincushionOrganizer.pdf

Everyones flags are so beautiful. I sent mine off last night. This is my first time really just flying by the seat of my pants, and just creating without having a plan, a list etc. i also used only stash materials.
