My water heater blew up so it set everything to a standstill.

I started mine, I am using all stash supplies not one thing has been recently purchased. Red white and blues are my favorite color combos. I used the super simple free Penelope Tote pattern. My mods are a zip pocket, key leash and magnetic closures.

I was out of fusible interfacing so I just used my favorite adhesive. It is great for applique too, no gummed up needles.

First modification

I just made a door decoration with scrap fabric, beads, perl cotton thread. I used dollar store cookie cutter hearts for templates. The hearts are stuffed.
My resolution is to buy less crafting crap and use up what I have.

I made these pattern weights out of fabric scraps old lentils and popcorn kernels. Although ladder stitching closed forty little bags was time consuming, it was worth it. I frigging hate pinning.

The print is loud and very yellow but it is a lovely vintage linen and I had 5 yards of it.

Sewing, machines and serger cover.

I made this coffee cup organizer from Simplicity pattern 2450, super easy. I see many more in my future.
The hand sewing kit is from the book "Zakka style". I love every project in the book.
I used scraps for both from fabric left over from pillowcases I made my daughter.
The owl fabric is from JoAnn's in case anyone likes it.

Thank you for posting for me Jo, I couldn't get a good picture to save my life.
 You guys should see how tiny and perfect her stitches are. The flower center on the Sakura blossom is thin wire and beads it is amazing. She went the extra yard with orange being my fave color. The Porkchop story is adorable, because he is really my champion he loves helping the dogs guard the yard and the Sakura blossom is my female Akitas name.

Sir Porkchop ( the ruiner of my former love of bacon. You can't eat bacon after you know a pig. )
