My friend rang up just one day before her DD's b'day to invite us. SO I made this as a birthday present for Juhi (my friend's DD). I have this plain pink fabric and pink stripy fabric which I think would suit her. I embroidered  her initial and put  little roses there..The roses are a readymade applique embroidery..I just have to iron it...

the detail:

Ok, I took this design from our pudding bowl. It's an old one actually and i've been wanting to do embroidery base on that flower...

so I just took a photo of the design, print it out in a piece of paper and trace the design and did the embroidery.
I changed few colors of the flower and here I used casement fabric. and I think I'll do one one on silk...

so here it is....

I know, its not nearly as good as the original pic as yet...but I'm working on my satin sticth...

Sometime back I got this nice book about silk ribbon embroidery by Sheena Cable. The book is really good complete with clear instruction & beautiful projects.

I want to make them into a pouch but just couldn't wait to share it here  ..so please let me know what you think...OH and I used Cross stitch cloth here, next I'm going to do it on silk

I made these trinkets sometime back but didnt get the time to take nice pic. Today it was sunny outside and the flowers r blooming so I feel like taking pics. Made the cones out of manila paper and spread the white sheet and Voila...

Yup, been so obsessed with this ones...based on one of Ondori Cross Stich book (sorry forgot to take the book's photo  ). I had lots of fun making them and it's practical to carry along (7" x 12") ..for my personal things or even for my son's bottle..

I made this pink wallet today inspired by wallet that my sister bought for  me from Sulawesi (Indonesia). It's a bit untidy and the zipper is a little messy  (any idea anyone, pls???)...and I should've used a more heavy interfacing (**must buy soon**).
