11  Holiday Skirts for lil girl in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by virsaq07 on: November 01, 2008 10:05:28 AM
Cheesy I made quite few skirts and small dresses recently but I'm too lazy to take photos:(
Most recent one is this one little skirt made of self embroidered fabric (I dunno the right term for this type of fabric  Huh)

I have this left over from making tunic and it's enough to make 2 skirts and I made a top to match. But I run out of matching ribbons so the top is quite plainish:(.

Anyway, here they are...

The pair: (I fold the top a it to show off the skirt  Cheesy)

Cheesy I just finish with  the tray cloth. I like this simple embroidery design that I saw on one of our Ondori book...the actual color (in the book) was gradation of red. But I thought simply red will look ok...and I love how it  turn out.. Roll Eyes

I used anchor cotton and casement fabric. The edge I finished it with decorative stitching from my Janome sewing machine...Smiley

Hope you enjoy it and Thanks a lot for looking... Cheesy

I hope she will like it..Cheesy and please let me know what you think??

I use manila paper as a "mock frame"..(I dont have the blue one.. Undecided). And since my digi cam is not working so this one I took using my handycam, somehow the color does not represent the real one Embarrassed..and I dunno how to fix it.. Huh.. Anyway, here it is:

Notice the Gold thread on the flower, I used chain stitch instead of Couching  Cheesy

And the design from the book:

So that's all ...I hope you enjoy it...and comment/critique is always welcome  Cheesy
