1  Plush Mouse - Made from a T-Shirt and Knitting Wool in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by kazzavinci_w_87 on: September 13, 2012 02:14:32 AM
Just wanted to quickly share a little project I made a couple of months back. It's a plush mouse that I made out of sleeves from a top that I altered with some plaited wool for it's tail.

Pattern below for your crafty goodness, enjoy!

2  Pink, lace and sequins = NOICE! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by kazzavinci_w_87 on: February 10, 2009 10:01:56 PM
Back again for another post. This time, my mum found me the gorgeous pink top as you can see below. The only problem was - not that it was from an op shop - someone had decided to cut a small rectangle piece from the back of the top (at the bottom).

So, I rummaged through my material stash and found the lovely lace, removed 2 to 3cm off the bottom of the top and attached the lace. However, I felt that the top now looked a tad out of place by itself, hence the lovely lace bolero/shrug(?).

The bolero/shrug(?) was based on a simple top pattern I had lying around and I just shortened it here and there so it would still resemble a bolero/shrug(?).

Very happy with how this has turned out considering the small amount of time I've had lately to actually finish these off.

Thank you and ENJOY Smiley

3  Finally posting! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by kazzavinci_w_87 on: February 02, 2009 09:50:53 PM
Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster.

Here's my contribution of what I have created:
First up is this dress which I started at one of those Spotlight dressmaking classes and failed to finish it by the last lesson (It was made from a NewLook 6644 pattern). A year or two goes by and I FINALLY finish it - side zip and all Cheesy

Second is this dress my mum picked up in an op shop. It was made by someone else. All I did was shorten it but I thought I'd show it here considering how funky the material looks.

Lastly, this pinafore was the first thing I made after finding out about this community. Oh and you'll have to excuse the curtain, I wanted to cover up the chest area considering the black felt on that particular area had worn away - meaning if you look at it from afar, it has nipples.

Thank you and enjoy Cheesy
