12  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Quilted leopard wristlet ! on: July 06, 2010 02:13:42 PM
I made my best friend a leopard skirt for this wedding we had to go to and made a matching wristlet to go with it.

It's was pretty easy to make. I decided to add 2 layers of batting to it to make it different and because the material is very very thin.

The detail on the wrist loop. And on certain occasions it can also double as a pillow ! lol

15  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / 1st Post in Jewelry!!! on: September 27, 2009 05:08:52 PM
This is my 1st post in jewelry...so i got into this because my grandma wanted some earrings and necklaces and she couldn't find what she wanted...so on to the pix !

This was originally this big gaudy necklace..it had like 3 strands of wooden beads and then these seashells...it was just way too much...so i refashioned it and made earrings and a braclet out of the leftover beads. This was my first jewelry project.

The pendent used was brought from Michale's it was on sale for like 2 dollars...i had to have it. The beads are chocolate brown with red/gold undertones.

It took me forever to thread these chips but i love how it came out! Has matching braclet and earrings.
