My mom got married in June. I am so happy for her to finally have someone who loves her and treats her so good. When she got engaged, just before SAFF last year, I told her I'd like to knit her a shawl for her wedding. She picked the Shipwreck Shawl on Ravelry and we picked out the yarn at SAFF, ordered 4,000 beads online, and I set to work. I only used 2,000 of the beads, because my mom is disabled and I worried about it being to heavy for her. I finished the shawl in 4 months and 1 day. It was a very challenging but amazing when finished. Enough of my babble, on to the pictures!

After  blocking! It really makes a difference, and it doesn't look very sparkly in the pics, but believe me, every way you move those beads pick up the light and just glimmer.

Hubs got a dremmel tool a few Christmas' back. Every year he gets some accessories to go with it, and this past year it was engraving bits. He's always big on woodwork, so he set out to make a Thor's hammer. This past weekend he finally stained it. I think it's amazing for his first engraving.

I'd like to brag on my hubs a bit. He's been helping me craft since I met him and loved stenciling when I first started doing it a few years back. He was bored the other day and took the time to cut out, spray paint, then stencil his own Egyptian banner. It came out really nice, and I'm going to look for the way to finish the edges and hang it somewhere. For now, it rests over the sterio in the dining room.

My spot! Oh no the cones broke! I didn't even think of that. Well, you could just sprinkle the broken pieces in a bowl of ice cream.

Day 12! It's being quickly eaten. I've only had two cookies. lol



Day 11! So many cool things for my hair! I'm going to have to hide them from my niece too. I'll never see the fruit again, should she see them. The flower is so awesome! I need to find something I have to dress up for now!

Day 10! My craftster would not work yesterday and I was so upset I couldn't post these pics. I will take pics of day 9 (LOVE!) and open day 8 as soon as hubs gets back. But first, day 10!




LOVE the jack skellington! He's already added to my wall!! That pic frame is wicked awesome! I think I'm going to put this years holiday pic in it as soon as I get them. I absolutely adore the my stash jar! It took hubs a minute to get it, which just made me laugh harder. After christmas, I'm filling it with something else and putting it where everyone will notice when they come in the house. The andy's didn't make it 20 more minutes after this picture. Hubs sadly threw the bag away wondering how he ate them all...

Day 9! Finally! Photo Hosting was not nice to me yesterday. :/



Felting stuff! Where in the world did you find felting things? I have to wait for SAFF to come around to get felting things, and never in such great colors! I'm overly excited and trying not to use it all at once. The apron is so awesome! My niece is insisting we make cookies today so she can wear it. I'm hiding the M&M's. <.< lol

I was jumping up and down when I saw this! I love heaven and earth designs, and this one is beautiful! I can't wait to get started on it. The stationary is very pretty. My penpals are in for a treat. More floss! Yay!

Day 7! All for hubs, who had to be forced out of the house and on to work after he opened everything. He wanted to stay and draw.



His shirt. He loves it. He kept touching the image on it. It's velvety.



Lots of bookmarks, he loved the gnomes! Those are so cute! Some artists stuff. A huge eraser. A dig out a dinosaur, and some brains. He loves it all and says thank you. He also said please send the but roll bar recipe. I didn't get to try those, he hid them after he had one.

Day 6! A few days late, sorry about that.



I giggled a lot. Right off of my pinterest. I love it so much! And such pretty yarn. Must find patterns for it.

It smelled so good as soon as I opened the box! I can't wait to try to make my soap! Thank you so so so much!

A beautiful purse, scarf, hoop. Some seeds and wax and wicks to make candles!

The yarn is from The Unique Sheep. They have a website, but I bought it at SAFF last year. I really hope they are there again this year so I can get some more. It's very soft and easy to knit with.

I found this link on pinterest, and made my husband go out and bring home a box of cake mix. I'll need smaller tips, and a bit more practice, but they are still awesome to look at.
