We had a lot of fun with this swap, so I think a round two might be worth your while!
Just a suggestion, though: I thought it would add a layer of fun if people didn't know where the cd they would get was coming from (a secret swap). This was not worth the hassle! I do not think people were substantially more excited by being surprised than if they knew thier partner's identity ahead of time, and it made it much more difficult to organize. Also, two people ended up flaking which is kind of easier to do if it's not a A <-->B type swap.
Anyway, have fun! I look forward to seeing the playlists you come up with.
Hey, Snacker, you're not alone: I knit through the back loop, thinking that was what everybody did, for probably a year or so!
You might also want to check out how you are purling. It turned out that, to keep my knitting looking "normal" (as opposed to twisted) when I was ktbling, I had started doing an odd purling thing (not ptbl, exactly, more like purling upside down?) Just something you might want to be aware of...
when Spray came in to the LYS where I work, an employee jokingly called it "tubercolusis yarn" (because of the coughing of blood). totally gross, but the name has stuck - now we all call it that. not around customers, though. usually.
it sounds great. I am dissapointed that this, like Sweater Generator (which is a similar program that's been around a while), appears to not be Mac-friendly. oh, well.
